Chapter 3 rebel
Emily’s P.O.V
“Don’t you think the one with the multi-colored hair is cute?” I stared dumbly at her. “Oh, right you like girls, sorry.” “No need to be sorry, he actually is cute. For you that is.” “Yeah…” She started staring into space. I waved my hand in her face. “No need to start getting all mushy on me though.” “Ok.” “Hey look! There are two of the boys. Ugh, Michael isn’t with them.” I turned my head to see the blonde haired boy and the one who looked Asian. I realized I hadn’t gotten to know their names. “What are their names?” “Calum is the one with the “NASA” shirt, Luke is the blonde with the “Nirvana” shirt, Ashton is the one with the “Captain America” shirt who hit on you, and Michael is the cute one with the “Deaf Lepeard” shirt and amazing galaxy hair.” I nodded and was thankful Ashton wasn’t in our class. “Aw Em are you sad that you have no to think about?” “No, I’m just fine thank you very much. You guys can go ahead and waste your lives over boys but not me. I actually want to get into a good college.” Hannah rolled her eyes. “It’s the beginning of the year, loosen up!” “That’s what you said at the end of last year.” “I know, I have to keep saying it because you never listen.” “Miss Merin and Miss Fields, is my teaching getting in the way of your talking?” Wow first day of school and were already in trouble. I was about to say no and apologize but Hannah beat me to it. “Actually it is do you mind?” I felt bad for the sweet teacher Mary-Margaret. “Well why don’t you don’t you two finish your conversation in detention after school?” The black-haired teacher put her hands on her hips. I gave Hannah a warning look saying ‘don’t push it.’ She just sighed and said “Whatever.” “Good now as I was saying-“ “She’s such a-“ “Hannah was one detention not enough?” “Sorry” Hannah blew a bubble with her gum and turned toward the teacher. Ms. Blanchard just turned and kept talking. “Your such a rebel.” I whispered. She shrugged and put her headphones in and pretended to listen to the teacher while I took notes and prayed that Hannah wouldn’t be expelled.
