Chapter 8 “A.”
Spencer’s P.O.V
“Whatever floats your boat princess.” I stood for a second watching him. Calm down Spencer you have to focus on school, not boys, not running from A. A text on my phone interrupted my thoughts. ‘Looks like Spence has got a crush. Better keep a close eye on him. -Kisses, A’ I almost screamed at my phone. Just when I thought this was going to be a normal school year, A just has to come back and ruin everything. I walk into the school reluctantly and immediately spot Emily. I walk up to her and show her my phone. She sighs and pulls her own phone out. ‘Looks like you dodged a bullet with the drummer, or maybe you stood in front of it and are about to get blown up’ I stood up not surprised at all. This was totally normal from A. Just then Ashton and Luke came up to us. “Morning girls.” I smiled and replied with a “Morning.” Emily just nodded. I nudged her. “Fine, I’m sorry for being rude yesterday to you guys.” “What was that, couldn’t hear you.” Ashton said while grinning. Emily hit his arm. “I said sorry, do you need a hearing aid?” But she was smiling. “Oh that was mean.” He fake-pouted. “Fine I’m sorry.” “Good” He went in for a hug but she put her hand on his chest. “Not so fast. I never said we were best friends now.” “But Emily,” He sighed. “Were going t be so much more than that.” He winked and walked away. Luke started laughing at his friend when Aria walked up. “Hey guys, what’s so funny?” Emily slammed her locker. “Nothing.” “Okay…” Aria said slowly. “So Luke how was your first day?” I asked curiously. “It was fine, thanks. So, you guys know anywhere to get good food?” “Sure do you and the other boys want to meet up at the brew later?” Aria suggested. “Sure but um, how do you get there?” “Oh, I’ll drive you.” Luke nodded and walked away. I gave Aria a look. “What?” She shrugged innocently. “Oh don’t worry your mom will be totally cool with you hanging out with four hot boys and oh, your taking one in your car!” “Wow does it smell really sarcastic in here?” “I’m just saying, be careful.” “Why?” I walked away only turning back to say “A.”
