Chapter 4 Lost boys
Ashton’s P.O.V
“Do you even know where were going?” I asked Michael again because apparently, we were lost. “Just follow me and be quiet.” I rolled my eyes as we turned down another familiar hallway. The second bell rang signaling the tardy bell. “Crap!” We walked faster but still ended up going in circles until we stumbled upon a teacher. “Excuse me miss but could you point us in the direction of Ms. Jacobs-” I was about to ask her where our next class was but she cut me off “Skipping class are we? And on the first day back?” She gave us a hard cold look. Michael and I exchanged confused glances before he spoke up. “N-no ma-m we were just lost and needed help finding our class. She relaxed and I guess she heard his accent because she said, “Oh you’re the new boys from Australia. I’m sorry, her class is all the way down the hall and then you turn to your right and it’s on the left next to the big band poster.” She gave us a warm smile. “Thank you.” We said together and headed down the hallway. When we entered the classroom Ms. Jacobs frowned and all eyes were on us. “That’s a detention for both of you for being late on the first day.” We sighed and sank down into the only two seats left as two girl laughed beside us.
