Taehyung's heart sank to the bottom of his stomach as he read her reply. He shouldn't have expected anything more than that for a response, she was right to think that of him— hell, even he thought that about himself.
But he didn't tell her the truth for his own benefit, he told her because he genuinely cared for her wellbeing, he told her in the hopes she'd run far enough away that Yoongi wouldn't be able to hurt her.

She couldn't believe she was doing this, essentially walking straight into a trap. Yoongi may as well have painted a giant red cross right where she stood.
Shifting her weight, she checked her phone, her brows weaving upwards from Hoseok's radio silence. She tried to push away the dark thoughts that began to cloud her mind. Above everything, she just willed for him to be okay.
Her thumb hovered over Taehyung's contact and she sighed, feeling her shoulders deflate. Blocking him may have been considered extreme, but she couldn't afford to let him get in her head, especially with the influence he had on her.
