I will recommend to read this story while playing a fantasy theme song, I tried it and it's a different experience... it's much more fun, I hope you'll try it out

Once upon a time, in a beautiful kingdom called de lacroix, lived the most beautiful girl of all times. She had a long soft red hair, big green eyes, a charming smile, clear and white skin, was tall with curves. All the girls envied her and all the boys wanted her, and the most important thing , she was the daughter of a duke.

The girl's name was Katherine, Katherine delait and she was my sister ...we didn't look alike at all, i have brown hair like most of the people here and blue eyes the same as my dad's, she was prettier, everyone loved her, she looked innocent but not for me... she was the devil,but i didn't hate her very much, i cared about her because she is my sister after all. She made me look bad in front of people and told lies about me, I confronted her and asked her for the reason she is doing this, why did she hate me so much? but she never gave me a proper answer.

She got everything she wanted using her face, she had things that she wasn't supposed to have... things that belongs to other people.

At that time , girls were getting married for political reasons with anyone that their family wanted, and since i was the oldest it was time for me to get married. unlike the other girls, i was getting married to the love of my life William, i was very thankful that finally something good is happening to me. The day before my engagement ceremony, I found william and katherine in bed... in MY bed I remember how broke , sad , disappointed , disgusted and angry I was. I hated Katherine so much since that day, the smirk that she had when I catched them still hunts me till this day, she didn't even apologize, I wanted to smash her pretty face but I couldn't .

Mother engaged them without caring about my feelings, without scolding them, i was lonely in this world mother always compared me to her :"Liadan , you are a lady you have to act and dress like one, I'm not asking you to be as pretty as your sister " i forgot to mention my name , i'm Liadan delait the oldest daughter, I am one year older than Katherine. My father was the only person to love and care about me , we used to play chess , to read books together, he taught me how to ride a horse, how to read different languages... he was everything to me.

For the last three years i had to see katherine and the man that i once loved laughing and touching each other ... she was doing it on purpose to hurt me, to make me suffer but i didn't care anymore , she can't break something already broken, the small light of hope that i used to have was gone... she took everything from me , my mother's love, my happines and my fiance ...but i will take my revenge soon, and make her suffer as much as I did.

The emperor was a kind, wise person he loved and cared about his people, he organized a Ball to get wifes for his sons, since he was getting old, he wanted to make sure that the princes and the kingdom will have a good empress.

Unfortunately for katherine she have no chance, she was paying for her evilness without me doing anything, but I wanted her to suffer more that's why I should get picked by one of the princes. I have a whole month to get ready, i went to a beauty shop, the owner was an old women elegant and beautiful, her shop wasn't very known in the city but in some way I remember coming here with someone.

"hello my lady, are you going to the ball as well ?" I blushed , i'm a shy person and i didn't have the chance to talk to a lot of people since i don't leave our mansion.

"my lady, you don't take care of your appearance at all. Your skin is very dry, and you need a haircut too "

" will that take a lot of time ?"

"Yes, but don't worry... i'm called the angel of beauty, in one month you will become the most beautiful girl in the entire kingdom" i nodded smiling at her , she made me sit in a comfortable couch and applied some masks on my face. we talked a little, she was very nice to me, i felt fresh when i was back home, but i was surprised when i saw strangers outside of the house , some of them were crying, i saw katherine crying too but it was a fake one, she can't fool me...i searched for my mother that's the first thing I did, I was scared that something may have happened to her, when i saw her in a corner surrounded by the maids and my nanny I let out a sigh of relieve, she was pale and shocked .

" mother are you okey ?" she didn't even look at me , her eyes were looking at nothing, it felt like she saw something that made her like that.

"mother can you hear me ?... mother ?" she finally looked at me, and started crying while hugging me , i don't understand what is going on here ,and my mother can not tell me in this state ,so i searched for our nanny and the head maid .

"nanny what happened ?"

"oh Liadan my dear , duke William was found dead ..." Suddenly my vision went blurry and I couldn't hear what the nanny was telling me .

"Liadan ?...Liadan "

" nanny how did he die ? "

" a D-demon attack ,he went hunting with his friends they got separated and he wasn't back so they went looking for him that's when the lady found his body in the garden "

"which garden ?"

" the garden of the house " they never came this far , the kingdom is in danger now ... We are in danger .

" are they sure that it was a demon attack not an animal ?"

" the police told us that it was a demon who did this "

"did you see the body ? how was it ?"

" no i didn't see it , your mother was the one who found it she is in that state since that moment" then she is not the one who reported it

"nanny who reported it ?"

"it was the guardian "

"where is he ?"

" i don't know liadan ...maybe with the police " I run to the entrance door, that's where the police were when i came in , he was sitting in a chair frightned, i walked slowly towards him, he saw me and tried to stand up.

"no you must be tired just sit down "

"thank you my lady "

" George can you tell me what you saw exactly ?" he just nodded , i can see fear in his eyes

" lady delait told me to bring her water because she wanted to take care of some plants, when i-i ... was back she was in the ground and beside her sir's body "

" how was the body ?"

"it was covered in blood , a lot of his body part were missing ... half of his face too " oh dear god , it's a demon .

demons appeard 100 years ago , no one know how or why we don't know a lot of details about them, because we didn't have a lot of demons attack unlike the other kingdoms. I felt dizzy, i was going to fall but someone catched me from my waist i looked at my saviour to thank him, but i couldn't see his face clearly because of the sunlight the only thing that I remember was his black eyes looking through me before I fainted.

I found this story in my old account , the english is not that good since I wrote it when I was 14-15. I tried to fix some mistakes but I was too lazy to fix it all, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
