Chapter 17

* Chapter 17: She's Leaving Home *

The alarm woke me up and I groaned quietly. I quickly took a shower, and did my hair like any mod girl would. It was curled up slightly at the ends and my makeup was clean and cut.

No black eyeshadow, no dark lipstick. I was in shades of nudes. Given the season of summer, it would be cool and breezy here in dull Liverpool, but warm and cozy in Italy.

I put on a blue summer dress with yellow buttons, which reached just above my knees, and got a tan coat to look modest. My yellow flats were next to my bed and I slipped them on and walked out with my luggage. A driver came to pick me up and drive me to the airport.

A polite old man who asked me what I was to do there.

I replied with Business, I told him not too much but the conversation was like him. Polite.

We arrived to the airport, completely empty. I went through to the gate and boarded the plane. It was a private plane, and I was the first on.

I took a window seat toward the middle of the plane. A stewardess came by and offered me any drinks. "Orange Juice, please." She smiled and nodded. It didn't take her long but it felt like it took her forever. I looked around to see if anyone else was coming, suddenly I heard a man's voice. I got jittery and excited.

Not in any perverse way, of course but I wanted to leave already. To get rid of Paul.

"Get the guitar's! Hurry up, haven't got all day!" The manager spoke. He walked up into the plane shook my hand then went to the very front to read through papers. Then the worst thing that could happen to me, did.

Four mop top boys. A blue eyed boy, and quiet one, a loud mouthed boy, and finally, the worst of them all. A Hazel eyed, arched eyebrow, full lipped boy who stole my heart and left me with the broken pieces..
