* Chapter 1: Dizzy Miss Lizzie *
"Everyone has a favorite Beatle!" Sadie shouted at me in laughter as she flipped her newly bleached blonde hair. I shrugged and smiled, "Mine is George." She smiled smugly as her voice cooed with delight at the sound of his name.
We walked out the hair salon as she played with the blonde hair, "Do you think I look good? with the blonde hair?" She asked. I nodded, "Yes don't worry, you look like Brigitte Bardot!" I soothed her as she smiled confidently, "You're right! And besides, blonde hair is in now. I don't know why you don't want to keep you're hair like that though." She spoke bluntly.
"Alright don't make fun of the red head!" I teased as I looked at my red curls. My hair wasn't frizzy, it was curly, as if someone had put hair curlers in.
"I'm just saying, no Beatle is going to like you. Well scratch that, maybe Paul but I doubt it. Especially after the big break up with that Asher girl, Jane I think." Sadie gossiped. "What do you mean? It's not like we're going to meet them!" I laughed as we got inside her car. "That's what you think," She squealed. "What do you mean?" Sadie looked around as if someone were with us and whispered, "I heard that the Beatles are going to the Cavern Club tonight and so are we!"
I sighed, "Not this again.." Sadie was a Beatlemaniac which was the term that mature adults (like myself) called girls (like Sadie) who were head over heels with the Beatles. Yes, they made good music, but so did the Rolling Stones and The Who but barely anyone was head over heels for them. Maybe it was just because they were from Liverpool so they think they'll have a chance, who knows?
"Gosh Lizzie, I don't know what you're doing here in Liverpool, I'd expect you to live somewhere more posh, like London." She huffed as I maintained my composure, "Sometimes, I don't even know why I'm here." I sighed. "Maybe because you love me." I laughed, "Molto bene, credo che andrò con questa scusa." Sadie rolled her eyes, "Just because you, Miss Elizabeth are going into a Italian-translation degree, does not mean you can use italian on me." She scolded. I laughed, "And why not, Italy is posh! And the language is amazing." I cooed. She shook her head, "Sorry you decided in teaching." I added.
Sadie was still a student, but this was her last semester, I finished last year, and became a private tutor to the wealthier people of Liverpool, such as businessmen. I hardly did any actual translation, unless it were for big name companies who took me to Italy for strict business. Which has only happened a few times.
"Sadie, when do you graduate? It's been what? A year since I graduated and you're still in that hell hole?" I teased. She sighed, "I graduate this year, after my finals. But that's beyond the point. We're going to the Cavern and you can't do anything about it!" She said as she turned the car on and began driving to our flat.
"Fine, but don't expect the boys to be all over you." I mumbled.

A/N:
So this is my new story, here's a basic bio of the characters;
Elizabeth (who also goes by Lizzie) is a red headed, classy type of person. By classy I mean she doesn't break any social rules. She works as a translator/tutor in Italian. (She mainly does business type of translations as mentioned earlier.) She has brown eyes and naturally pink lips. She is well known around Liverpool since she's one of the only people who works in her profession.
Sadie is a new blonde who although wants to be a teacher in music, will most likely be a musician in an full orchestra. (She's majoring in Music) She plays the trumpet, and is very interested in men (which is one of the reasons why she decided to play the trumpet, a male dominant instrument) She also has brown eyes.
Both of them live together in a shared flat. Which mean Elizabeth has to listen to all the records that Sadie listens to, which are mainly none others than the Beatles.
