In the Beginning

In the beginning, Heaven cast the fallen angels down to hell. Of course, this was well known information. But what happened to slip through the cracks were the ones...or one as it were...that got stuck somewhere in the middle?

I never meant to fall, in fact, I should have never fallen. But somehow, someway, I managed to get mixed up somewhere in the middle of all of it and some overzealous angels booted me out with the rest of them. Not entirely sure why. I had never even run around with that crowd.

 But I didn't go to Hell. I wound up somewhere on the newly made Earth. 

About the only exciting place on Earth was Eden, but with an angel at every gate, I didn't dare go there. One even had a flaming sword. Though, it was tempting. I heard there was a great snake stirring things up. Then one day, the two humans were cast out, much to my surprise. 

I'm not proud to admit, but I did spy on them. After all, television hadn't been invented yet, and they were the most exciting thing on the planet. Literally. 

But eventually, as was bound to happen, one of their children saw me. To my horror, the poor thing ran away screaming. 

"Well, fuck." I swore, and thus creating the first swear word in history. Honestly, I didn't see what made me so scary. At least, that was the case until I took a good look in a pond. 

My hair, so long and pretty and blonde in Heaven, had turned stark white in the fall. My blue eyes  had turned blood red and my skin pale. I could have handled the transformation, except for what the fall to nowhere had done to my wings. My wings, which had once been so pretty and soft and white, were now shredded and grey

Due to some angel's mistake, I had been cast out and turned into a nightmare.
