Chapter Twelve

JJ and Reid had just dropped us off back at the hotel, and Derek and i, we were packing up our stuff, and getting ready to leave. But i will always remember this place, the place where Derek asked me out, where we had our first kiss. I will never forget. I was currently sitting on the bed, folding all my clothes, and putting them away in my bag.

"Hey, you ready?" Derek asked, as he walked back into the room.

"Nearly" i replied flatly.

"You okay?" He asked as he sat down next to me.

"Yeah, I'm just still...shocked, y'know? I nearly died, Daisy could've died" i replied, as i felt tears burning into my eyes.

"But you're okay." He said, as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Yeah, I'm just glad you were there, y'know?" I replied,

"It's okay baby" he said as he kissed my neck softy, and i just turned around and gave him a small kiss on the lips.

I just stood up, to go and get my hairbrush out of the bathroom, and when i came back, Derek wasn't there.

"Derek?" I called out, then I felt a big pair of arms wrap around my waist, as he started spinning me around, with my legs swinging around. "Put me down!" I laughed.

"Only, if you kiss me, like you mean it" he replied as he turned me around, so my legs were wrapped around his waist. I just moved my head down, and passionately kissed him softly. "Thank you" he said once we opened our eyes. He quickly put me down gently, and i walked over to my bag and continued to pack my stuff.

Once we were done, we went and got into the car, waiting for JJ and Reid. I just leaned back, and put my feet up on the dashboard. Ugh, I'm so tired, and i can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to get on the plane. And usually I'm scared of flying. I just put my earphones in, listening to 'Now you're gone' by Basshunter. Its a great song.
After about half an hour, we were boarding the plane. I just sat where i sat last time, with Derek next to me, and Reid and JJ across from me. After about 10 minutes, the plane started to take off. I got a bit anxious and snuggled into Derek again, and he held me tightly again, but now I don't mind.

"You okay?" JJ asked.

"Yeah, bit anxious though" i replied, and i put my head on Derek's shoulder. And he just pulled me closer, kissing my forehead slightly. And this happiness brought JJ and Reid closer to each other, cause they were snuggling up as well. Aww, they were the perfect couple.

"You'll be okay" Derek said as he kissed my cheek.

"I know" i replied, kissing him on the lips.

After a while, Derek eventually fell asleep, and JJ and Reid went and played chess. Suddenly i saw someone sit down in front of me, and it was no other than Rossi. He just held his hands together, as he put them out in front of him. I just stared at him with dagger eyes.

"What do you want?" I snapped, yet quietly.

"To apologise" he replied.

"Too late now" i replied, starting to get angry.

"Im really sorry" he apologised.

"No! You broke your promise!" I snapped.

"Actually, i kept my promise..." He said.

"No you didn't! You said you would only tell him if he told you!" I replied.

"And he did tell me, two days ago." He replied.

"Oh, Rossi I'm sorry, please forgive me!" I begged.

"Of course i forgive you!" He smiled as he grabbed my hand. And i just smiled back.

Pretty soon after that, Rossi left, and i was left alone. But Derek eventually woke up, and we hugged for a while, and i told him what happened with Rossi, and he was okay with it. Pretty soon later, the plane started to descend, and we were finally on the ground. I stepped off the plane, grabbing my bags and holding Derek's hand.

We got back to a car, and Derek started driving me back home, we eventually reached my apartment building. And i opened the car door, and jumped out, i turned back around to grab my bags.

"Hey, its cold, wanna come up for a coffee?" I asked him nervously.

"Yeah, sure" he replied, smiling. He got out of the car, and came around, and grabbed my bags. We walked upstairs to my apartment, and walked inside. He just put my bags down in the corner of the room, and stood behind me, getting stuff down off the shelves for me.

"It's a good thing you're so tall" i said as he passed me two mugs.

"Haha, thank you for saying yes to going out with me" he said as he kissed me.

"Thank you for asking" i said as i kissed him again.

"I am so lucky to have you" he said as he put his forehead on mine.

"Will you stay with me? For the night?" I asked nervously.

"Of course babe" he said as he smiled.

I can't believe I finally found the perfect guy.............
