I used to hate silence.
It would make me want to scream and pull my hair out.
But now sitting with you.
In my room.
Silence isn't such a bad thing.
Just to being your presence overuled anything.
We worked on our project.
In silence.
Occasionally I would ask you a question I already knew the answer to.
Just to hear your voice.
Your beautiful voice.
'Do you want to listen to music?'
You asked out of the blue.
'This silence is defeaning.'
I just blankly stared at you.
WoThat's the most you have ever said to me.
I just replied with a 'yeah okay.'
I'm sorry I lied to you Jane. I told you I couldn't play my music becuase the speakers on my phone weren't working.
But the truth is, I just wanted to hear your music.
You nervously bit your lip as you turned on your music.
As if I were to judge you.
Robbers by the 1975 began to softly play.
I fucking love that song.
The music filled the room, shattering the silence that was once there seconds ago.
dedicated to @breathless_love because she was my first comment and she was dying for me to update:)
