Sans laid on his bed wanting to just disappear. Life had not changed much since the underground. his brother had become much mild toward him. However, there was still, he would even dare to say more, people wanting them dead. Human was still racist toward them and trying to drive them away and back underground. it had gotten better since they were freed, but not much. His depression just became worst and his hope nearly gone. When would Frisk reset and send them back to that hell hole? he would not argue, he didn't deserve anything good after everything he had done through his life. He and Papyrus had gotten in a pretty heated argument with some demonstrators today. which lead to him getting a few new scars and letting his frustration out on an employer. poor kid probably got payed less having to deal with angry customers. no guilt on what he his. the female employer had what was coming to her, especially when he showed fear in her eyes. weak point. or maybe the underground was getting to him again.

His phone rang right next to his ear, making him flinch. looking at the phone made him realize he didn't recognize the caller ID. not caring and not wanting to get yelled at if he had forgot someones number made him answer and let out a tiered hello. "Oh, hi... I'm sorry, did I wake you?" He had to blink. He didn't know who this was. voice to sweet and soft for anyone he knew. "No, don't worry about it... Do I know you?" his voice was always a bit lighter when he was at home, not needing to sound intimidating. much smoother when he talked and didn't put on a more tough persona. "Nope. I'm just a lonely dialer checking inn." lonely dialer hu? He didn't have anything to do, Paps was out so he would not get grumpy over a task or two not being done in a while. "a lonely dialer? why do they call you lonely, lonely dialer?" he got more comfortable against his pillow. his jacket lone gone down it the dryer after getting soaked by rain. he was to pissed earlier to use one of his short cuts.

"oh, well...." they started on the other end. he had not heard much of their voice, but he knew he liked to listen to it. "I usually do these calls when I fell...feel lonely, or had a bad day" "What is it this time?" he curiously asked. "... a little mix of both" she answered with a forced chuckle. his smile faltering for a second but returned when she spoke again. "What about your day, umm..." "You can call me Red sweetheart~." he couldn't help but chuckle by her embarrassed squealed on the sudden nickname. "okay then sexy smooth talker" okay, he was not anticipating one back "who was your day".

"it was shit" he said blunt. "oh... want to talk about it?" he raised a bone brow. "just talk about my worry and weaknesses to a person I don't know?" why would he let himself be vulnerable and weak. He and is bottle up emotions were fine, totally fine. "You said it yourself. I'm a total stranger. you will never meet me or talk to me again. What am I going to do with some secrets of a guy I never know except his voice and worries? If you don't like the way this conversation is going, you can just hang up" his end became quiet while thought over her words.

She was right. there was nothing that could go against him if he allowed it. he signed and began talking. about the fight, his brother being a bit rough but that he is getting better, just plain praising his brother, some puns witch she giggled at, people expect more of him, stress from his jobs his brother makes him have and just small struggles through his everyday life. she came in to the conversation once in awhile an talked about some similar experience she had and talked about things that happened to her. It felt nice that he had found someone that would listen to him. smile grieving watch minute they talked. "well, I believe this is our goodbye" she noted tiredly after commenting they had talked for two hours when she looked at the clock. Sans felt a sting of fear hit him. he liked this. even if he denied it, he liked the light feeling he got in his. Feeling better after talking and venting to this total stranger.

"Am I allowed to save your number?" he asked before he could stop himself. he could hear a quiet gasp from the other side. she had probably never gotten this question before. "you don't have to" he quickly added trying to keep his voice calm. "I like this little talking session, so maybe we could do this again. maybe you won't be so lonely afterward lonely dialer" he chuckled afterward, hoping to not make this awkward. "And hey, if you don't like the way a conversation is going you can just hang up." Giggling was heard from the other side when he quoted her. "I will" came her voice from the other side. "Then you can await another call in the future sweetheart" another embarrass squeak was cut short when he hanged up. big grin on his face while he looked at his phone. saving the number as lonely dialer. having a really good feeling about this.
