Some months of conversations have gone by. it felt like you and Red had know each other your entire life, and you didn't even know what he looked like. you knew his voice, laughter, likes, dislikes, that he had frequent night terrors and nightmares, that he had a younger brother, he was around your age and much more. you knew his fears and hope as much as he knew yours. it was strange that you could open that much and getting that much attached to a stranger you didn't even know the name of. even worse when your heart skipped every time he called. his calls were the highlights of every shity day. it seems like the only good thing that happen to you in awhile.

job is just the same routine as all the other day. clock in, go in the register, great the regular customers, listen to Jacob, break, back to work, try to act professional with the large scary skeleton dude that still shows up, clean a little, realize Jacob is still talking about that story he began before your break, go home. It had been an routine it seemed like you could break. even the spooky scary skeleton dude had become an routine, and bad one at that. praying to the gods you still be at break or he wen to another register when he enter. at leas at home the routine was a bit broken. eat something easy because you can't cook. watch TV, do your hobby or was either yourself or the house. every one of the happening would be broken of if you feel that two had become an routine.

"Lady. hey, lady are ya in there! I'm talking to you." body jolting and eyes shooting up only to let out a startled yelp when your eyes met two angry pinpricks. "Can I get my order?" he asked, not looking amused over you or who you were doing your job. "oh. ye...yes...yes sir" you stammered and punched in what he regularly ordered as fast as you could to get this encounter over and done with for the day. him grumpily hanging back and checking his phone. A much nicer lady came to order from you which was always better than the usual Karen and grumpy skeleton.

After taking the long way home to get some exercise and go to the local game store to browse around. looking through all the discounted games to see there were something you could your mind of while paying. you had finally found one and was excited to play when you got home. Red had actually recommended it in one call. getting some snacks to relax and play while getting your mind of everything that happened today and your stupid crush on Red. it was peaceful and relaxing. you had free from work the next day so you could lazy around all you wanted. well, mostly. you really wanted to escape that stupid routine and get a new more exciting and enjoyable job. more money would be fine as well.

the melody of lazy days by Bruno Mars rang through your room. a smile spreading over your face when you recognize the melody you chose for Red when he rang. quickly pausing the game before reaching over to your pillow were you placed it. "Hello!" you answered with truly happiness. "Hey doll" came his voice from the other side of the phone. sounded like he was tired. you recalled him having an extra shift at his workplace today so he didn't have much time to slack off. "I swear your some type of tied every time we talk" you joked to get the conversation going. "What? do you know my sleep schedule or something? maybe I just woke up for the day" he answer with a teasing voice. "Even I know you nap more than you work Red" "wouldn't dream about it. but if I would there is a possibility I newer been tired about it". you let out a laugh and could just feel the gin growing on the other end. "That was bad" you stated after calming down "you laughed" he pointed out.

The usual calm conversation the two of you had began after a short time with bad jokes. "hey, I was wondering... don't think off me as a creep or something but... what city do you live in?" The question chat you off guard and you want quiet. "doll?" a nervous voice on the other side of the phone made her come back. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I were just wondering if... if it would be possible to meet in person. in a public place of course." different answer ran through you head and you could feel your heart pounding as as you answered the city you lived in. it was a big place so he couldn't come and just find you on the street. silence was met on the other end. you called out to him to see if he would respond or if you had accidentally hung up. "That's my city to sweetheart." he sounded out of breath as you felt your heart racing a bit.

Taking a deep breath before taking. "so that means... that means we can meet up?" Your voice was lower than you would have liked. "If you want to that is" you quickly added before sounding demanding or pushy. "Guess we can... Is it easy for you to get to the statue at the city center or the cinema?" he asked with a bit of forced confident. the town center was just two blocks down from your apartment. the cinema was around seven blocks. "I live near the city center. are you free on Thursday?" you had began to fumble with the blanket you got to feel more cozy and forcibly stopped yourself. "Bad timing for me. Saturday?" "I'm free then" you tucked your hair back behind your ear to distract your hands again. "then it's settled"
