You smiled, today you were at the food expo you loved shopping here this time of the year because they had amazing sales and food in store.
You were humming a tune you'd had in your head for a while while walking when you spot a very familiar male.

"Kyoya?" You ask standing in front of him as he turns to you "I never would have expected to see you here" you smile.

He looks at you shocked and then like he's deep in thought.
You both stay that way kind of looking at each other until..

"How much money do you have on you Y/N" He asks.

You stare at the fast food place Kyoya had picked to have lunch at in horror.
You knew Kyoya if this place gave him food poisoning it would be your fault and he'd probably add more money to your debt just to get even.

"Are you sure you wanna eat here?" You ask worried.
"Are options are limited considering how much money you have on you, but make sure you get a receipt" a dark shadow suddenly looked over his face "Tamaki will reimburse you ten fold" he glares.

You shiver at the way he says Tamaki before shaking your head and ordering for you both.
As you sit down you look at him and snicker.

"What?" He asks.
"Nothing I'm just realising I've never seen you eat" you smile "I'm surprised this kinda food appeals to you"
"It doesn't" he says and starts a rant.

Good lord sometimes you wonder why he keeps up a good guy act and then drops it so easily or how more like.

"Besides there's no one of importance to see my momentary laps of madness"

You blush and look down remembering that kiss and sigh looking up.

"What I saying is there's no benefit in me being nice which includes any special treatment I may give you" Kyoya says twirling a fry between his fingers.
"Oh really?" You ask with a side glare.

You watch him as he act completely different when there's nothing to gain I mean Tamaki couldn't act like this in a million years.
So how do they complement one another.

"Your probably wondering how Tamaki and I complement one another" Kyoya says.

You choke on your drink as you cough looking at him scared.

'Oh great no he's on my head two!' You think.

"It is very simple I have something to gain" Kyoya says "there is no better motivator then self interest I have to look out for number one you know" he says.
"Tamaki's heart would break if he heard you talking like that" you say looking at him with sad eyes.
"On the contrary he's been understanding of our agreement the entire time same with the twins and honey and Mori" he smirks "the glue that holds this club together is our mutual egocentricity it's the principle that drives our families alliances and what helps insure our futures" he smiles fixing his glasses "but me and Tamaki are very different creatures"

You and Kyoya had moved on now walking around the market as you smiled.
He had agreed to have a look around and keep you company until you helped him find Tamaki.
You look over to see him looking at a product.
