A Railgun In Fairy Tail NXT: Book 2

The Proctors of Order and Chaos Meet.

Mikoto looked up from her desk in the hotel. 

She had fallen asleep after coming home. It had been a trying day after she had visited Tomura Shigaraki in the police lock up.  

After much interrogation, all Tomura ever did was sneer at his interrogators. Mikoto had been tempted to go in and interrogate him herself, however, as the induction of All Might's world into the alliance was still being finalized, she had to respect the current authorities of this world and trust them to do their job. 

Ultimately, after fruitless stonewalling and a few disturbing grins in Mikoto's direction. They came out of it with nothing. 

And so Mikoto and Touma went back to their hotel room, with Mikoto taking the time to fill out some documents and files before the official unveiling of the Alliance to this world tomorrow. 

Mikoto sighed, stroking her forehead. "I'm working too much.. at this rate I'll end up looking like Naruto.. "

Mikoto opened her laptop and began typing away, She then noticed one of the files of her computer out on the desktop area had a red check mark. 

After Mikoto and Caulifla accidentally visited an inappropriate site (causing their jaws to drop and to start asking lots of questions to Mikoto about how the human body worked), Mikoto had put extra security measures on her computer to tell her if certain files were accessed.. or certain sites.

Mikoto narrowed her eyes. "Touma?"

"Yeah honey..?" Touma looked up from the book he was reading on the bed. 

"Did you access the file on the Sorcerer Kingdom World at all?" asked Mikoto. 

"Haven't been on the computer all week." said Touma.  "Why?"

"Somebody's accessed Ainz Ooal Gown's file in the last 24 hours.." said Mikoto as she typed quickly on the computer. "Tried very well to hide it.. but.. seems like my firewalls were too good.."

"Of course they were.. trying to outsmart an Electromaster with a Computer is near impossible.." said Touma. "Did somebody sneak into the hotel while were away? What were they looking for..?"

"Information... information on Ainz apparently.. "

"That skeleton dictator from the Sorcerer Kingdom?" said Touma. "The one you were on the fence about cause he could change his ways if he at least tried..?"

"The file holds everything on him.. including his true identity as a salaryman from another world's version of Japan." said Mikoto. "His psychological profile, his subordinates, his abilities.. I can't help but wonder.. if he was trying to see what we had on him.."

"Ainz? Come on.. he doesn't have the means for Interdimensional Travel." said Touma. 

"Unless.. he's part of this Proctor Organization.." said Mikoto.

"What?" said Touma. 

"Think about it.. Gilgamesh.... Frieza.. Cinder Fall... Eliza Ribbon the Proctor of Cheer... intel says they're each from different worlds... Eliza in particular is from a world which doesn't have interdimensional travel.. the Proctors are recruiting members from worlds all over.. and Ainz.. I hate to admit it but he's really powerful.. and his resources are valuable.. " said Mikoto. "I think we need to consider the fact that Ainz is in this world right now.. scheming."

"That's bad.. I don't even think All Might in his prime could take Ainz." said Touma.

"Which is why you're going to have to deal with him.." said Mikoto. 

"Me..?"

Mikoto grinned. "He has absolutely no way of hurting you and you know it.. think of it this way.. all his strongest attacks are nothing but magic.."
