"You know," she said, "if it weren't for the new, instant face-recognition transport system, space travel would be impossible. It would take too long, and my dream of meeting a member of the Morpher species would still be a dream."
Her husband looked at her, heavy, sleepy eyes telling her that he would be a better listener after a full-night's rest. She planted a kiss on his forehead. He smiled.
"I'm glad you've taken advantage of it," he said. "It's changed you, but for the better I think."
The following morning the Morpher awoke to a delightful breakfast in bed.
