I glare at him "How do I know you aren't lying to me? How do I know you aren't some random serial killer?"
He gives me a questioning look. "You don't but I've known Gray since we were little."
I look at Gray but don't move my crossbow. "If what he's saying is true why don't I know about him?"
He shrugs "I thought you knew."
I roll my eyes and put my attention back on Jonah. "If what you're saying is true tell me something about him."
"He's a alcoholic and the reason he is one is because his parents abused him." He quickly says.
Out of the corner of my eye I can see Gray's body stiffen. He only tells that to the people he absolutely trusts. I still remember when he told me. We were at our local park, sitting on the swings and he just started to bawl his eyes out and tell me how his parents abused him everyday. Then he stayed at my house for a few weeks.
"Sorry Jonah but I don't think you should come back wi-"
"He's coming with us." Gray rudely interrupts me.
