It was just a little note. A note that Catra desperately wanted to give to Adora. She stuffed it in her bra and left the bedroom. She crept past Lonnie and crew. Then took the stairs on the left down to the main level. She knew this was stupid, but she hadn't seen Adora in weeks.
She was quick to "borrow" a skiff and head to the Whispering Woods. She parked it just inside and walked into the jungle of the woods. She knew there were dangers lurking about so she decided to take the higher road. She carefully moved from tree to tree. Making sure she jumped onto thicker branches instead of the thinner ones.
She could see Bright Moon from where she was. She stopped and sat down from several feet from the ground. This was comfort at it's best for her. She could stare and day dream for hours up here. The only thing that would keep her from this was bad weather.
"Where is Catra?" Scorpia sobbed to Kyle and Lonnie hours later.
"Honestly don't know." Lonnie said as Kyle dripped sweat for no reason.
Kyle shook his head and shrugged loosely. "Sor- sorry."
Scorpia knew in her heart where Catra wanted to be. "I have to go." She stood up and stalked out of the room.
Lonnie and Kyle didn't bother asking where she was going.

She got to the skiff landing and noticed one was missing from their updated inventory. "Wildcat, you shouldn't be doing this. Now you're making me come for you." She powered it up and headed up high above the trees. She was heading to Bright Moon.
Catra moved carefully up to the palace. She avoided the guards with her quick cat-like movements and slinked inside. "Too easy." She laughed to herself. Now to find Adora.
Finding Adora was the hardest part. Guards were everywhere and so were many of the towns people. As Catra looked around corners, someone noticed a gray tail.
Glimmer suck up behind her. She threw a hand over Catra's mouth. "No biting! Why are you here?"
Catra wiggled like a worm in Glimmer's grasp.
Glimmer let her go. "I will alert security if you do anything more than talk."
Catra turned to her. She bared her teeth. "I just . . . " She paused and looked into Glimmer's eyes. "I need to give Adora something." She reached into her bra and pulled out the folded note. Her hand extended out for Glimmer to take it. "Here."
Glimmer shook her head of pink and purple hair. "No, come with me. You face her or leave."
Catra nervously paced around. She stopped and with a defeated look, held out the note again. "Please, Glimmer, give this to her."

Glimmer saw the guard behind Catra stand ready to attack. "Stand down!" She yelled at the guard. "Catra's with me."
Catra turned to see a tall man with a mustache. He looked a touch evil as he sneered at her presence. She felt Glimmer take her by the wrist and lead her down a hallway. Five rooms down and on the right Glimmer knocked three times.
Adora opened the door. She was stunned to see Catra with Glimmer. "What's going on?" She had her long hair down and the tie for her hair on her own wrist. "I was about to take a shower."
Glimmer let Catra go. "Give it to her."
Adora saw the invisible armor building up around Catra. She stepped forward and took the note from Catra's hand.
In big bold letters, 'HEY, ADORA.' was written. It was followed by five different Catra faces making faces up at her. I miss you. My feelings for you won't ever go away.'
Adora looked to Glimmer. "Can I please have some time with her."
"Scream if you need me." Glimmer said and shut the door behind her.
Adora sat on her bed. "I miss our friendship. The way things use to be too. Now it's complicated and not because I'm She-Ra."

Scorpia landed just outside of the Whispering Woods and went to Bright Moon.
"Even if I wanted to have a relationship it would be too hard." Adora said honestly. "You're with the Horde and I'm here. How on earth is that gonna work?"
"Secretly." Catra said and her long hair touched Adora's shoulder.
Scorpia fought off the guards that were in her way and entered the castle.
Adora's eyes met hers. "We can't."
Catra's sharp nails grazed Adora's skin. "Tell me you don't feel anything."
Adora couldn't and Catra leaned in to kiss her. The kiss was fire. It was heated and wanted.
A loud boom hit the bedroom door and pulled them apart. It came again and they looked at each other. Another boom and the door blew open with a furious Scorpia behind it.
She was crying, but standing strong. "Catra, I love you!" She screamed out. "Why can't you see that I'm the one that wants you?"
Adora felt Scorpia's pain.
"I'm sorry. I already told you that I love Adora." Catra told Scorpia.
"You love me?" Adora said, trying to believe Catra was capable of saying those words.
25
Scorpia came over to them. "You've broken my heart." She told Catra, her tail twitching with eager venom in it.
Catra was now scared of her. "Please, Scorpia, go home. I'm sorry I'll never return your feelings."
Scorpia's tail swung toward Catra, but Adora jumped into action. She grabbed it with both hands and forced in down. Catra cried out and ran out of the chaos.
Scorpia turned her attention on Adora. "You're the problem!" She screamed and attacked.
Glimmer came running into the room blasting her magic at Scorpia. The long tail swung to strike her now. She teleported next to Adora, whom was now ready with her sword.
"Please stop this!" Adora cried out. "Scorpia! Do you really want to lose your tail over this?"
Scorpia shrugged her large shoulders. "Anything for Catra!"
"Stop!" Catra screamed out. "Stop!" She held up her hands as a white flag. "I am begging you to stop, Scorpia."
Getting herself under control, Scorpia stood firmly in place as guards and Angella looked on. "I just wanted to love you."
"Then love me as family. As a sister. I can never be anything more than that to you." Catra said, eyes locked with Scorpia's.
26
"I don't know if I can." Scorpia said sadly. "I guess I could try."
Catra came over to her. "Even if you can't be to me. I'm still your Horde sister."
Scorpia smiled slightly. "Thanks." She said and looked around. "I'll let myself out."
Angella and the guards went with her.
Catra looked to Adora and Glimmer. "That was crazy."
Glimmer went to sit down.
Adora hugged Catra to her. "You handled that well."
Catra pulled back. "I tried." She said, then bent to pick up the note on the foor. "So are we gonna be together or . . ."
Adora took it from her. "This is mine."
Catra smiled and saw Glimmer roll her eyes. She grabbed Adora and kissed her. "I honestly can't live without you in my life."
"What are you saying?" Adora searched her eyes.
Catra grinned. "That you're my girlfriend and I'm gonna live in Bright Moon with you."
