Chapter 11 • Scheming

THEO POV

I was walking back to the common room when a rush of teachers sprinted past me, one carrying a girl with blonde, almost white hair. It only took a second for me to realise who that was. Sprinting after them, we headed for the infirmary, by the time I was there, Luna was on the bed with madam Pomfrey tending to her. "Theo?" I turned to see Harry in the door way, "I bumped into McGonogall, she told me to come here, said she needed to speak with us," "That I do Mr Potter, please boys take a seat. St this point Luna was hidden from us.

"Your mother can and notified me of an incident, she said that she heard a scream coming from the common room, however she knew only Luna was inside, when we reached the common room, we heard screams and cries, once inside, we saw Miss Weasley standing over Luna, Luna's arm was broken and it appears she has taken a severe beating, I'm so sorry boys, I'm not sure how she is doing but you will be excused from lessons until she wakes up," Harry's hand was clutching at mine.

Not to long after, Madam Pomfrey allowed us to see her. "Hi," She croaked out, her eyes, cheeks, lip and shoulder were swollen, "I'm going to kill her!" I growled out "Theo, I'm okay," she tapped the sides of her bed, hinting for us to sit down.

"What happened Luna?" I asked, "I was in the common room, reading, when Ginny got in and started screaming about how I stole Harry and that I need to give him back, she cursed me so I couldn't move than punched and slapped me then broke my arm, then I woke here," Harry shot up, "This is my fault," he choked out, "I was arguing with Ron, he was calling me a fag and you both freaks, I didn't notice she left, if I did I could have stopped this!" "It's not your fault Potter, we just need revenge," Draco's voice called out.

"When did you guys get here?" "Mrs Potter informed us when we got to the common room, now, if there is one think a Slytherin does best, well that's revenge, and I'm sure with Gaunt blood on our side, we can easily get her into some hot water," Rose smirked at me.

"So, the ministry law states that any attack from a witch or wizard will result in one month imprisonment in Azkaban, however seeing as she attacked the ministers son's soulmate, she will be imprisoned for three months, seeing as Luna didn't die and that Ginny is still technically a minor," "What will happen to her in Azkaban?" "Well, it appears that she will face the dementors kiss, not to the point that it kills her twice a month, until she leaves, but the person who was attacked has to press these charges or she will just be expelled," "I mean, it's all really harsh," Luna whispered, she wasn't one to hurt people, she never was.

"Luna, honey, she will only keep hurting you, and what if she succeeds and she kills you?" Theo asked, "Okay, I'll press the charges," "Orite, I will have father here in ten minutes," I left to send him a message. As I was walking back, a force sent me into the wall.

"Where's my sister?" Ron growled, "Woah buddy, the bitch went mental, McGonogall had her," "Why?" "She attacked Luna," "Well, the freak had it coming," "Now you listen here! Luna is no freak... and I suggest you head off and find that bitch of a sister because she's off to Azkaban now, or did you forget? She attacked the soulmate of the ministers son... I'm sure you know what that means," I laughed, "Luna wouldn't go through with it!" "Oh but she will," "And why would I believe you, I suspect you're the one who kidnapped Hermione" "Please, I didn't kidnap anyone, especially your little girlfriend," his hands clenched around my wrists, forcing me into the wall, I hastily lifted my knee, only for Ron to hit the ground like a stack of brick.

Unlucky honey, maybe don't leave your self so open to attacks. Leaving him on the ground, o headed back to the infirmary. "What took so long? dad already here," My brother questioned, "Just a little run in with Ron," "Did he hurt you?" Draco checked my body for bruises, "Nope but let's just say, he won't be having kids any time soon," I winked, causing the men to flinch whilst the girls laughed. 

"Don't worry Luna, Ginny Weasley is already on her way to Azkaban, you won't see her for a while," "Thank you," "Any time, now you lot need to stick together, quiet a few people are raging about Harry being a Slytherin and having two soulmates," we nodded before he apparated away. "Madam Pomfrey, Can Luna come back to the common room?" "She can, As long as you make sure she takes this potion before she falls asleep," she handed Theo a greenish concoction. When Luna attempted to stand, he swiped her up into his arms. "I can walk," she laughed, both him and Harry quickly denied that. "You ain't walking anywhere," "I broke my arm, not my leg," she complained, though I think she liked knowing that her, Harry and Theo stood a chance.

"What should we do about Ron?" "Well a little revenge never hurt anyone... we just need the perfect trick," "What if we can get our hands on a boggart, literally force his fears on him?" "That would work, but we need to find out what they are first so we can plan around it, like a dementor wouldn't show up randomly, so we need to figure his fear out, than create a whole scene around it," This is we're the Gaunt's Slytherin side really shows.

"How about, Harry, if you go to him and say that you're 'spying' on us and that you don't really care for me and Luna, then he will open up?" Draco explained, "It's worth a shot," Harry slipped out before heading to find Ronald.

"Ron!" "Yes traitor?" He snarled, though he looked more constipated than angry. "I need to speak to you privately," finally after a solid five minutes he agreed though he had hold of his wand. "Look I'm not actually friends with the Slytherins, I'm just trying to see if it's any coincidence that this Rose shows up the same time Hermione went missing," "Okay and why didn't you tell me this before?" "I had to make it look like we hated each other now, so they would open up," "Once we find out what they did to my future wife, I'm going to kill them!" He growled.

"Do you remember when we followed the spiders and you nearly cried," I fake laughed, we had spent two hours going through past memories, he opened up to me, so I knew now was the time to get it out of him, plus we were doing shots... his containing veratiserum. It's the Slytherin in me.

"Oh god yes, I was terrified," "Do spiders still freak you out, even after they stormed the castle?" "Not really?" "Oh that's good, I heard we were going over boggarts again this year, have any idea what it will turn into for you?" "Definitely, being inferior to you," he winced when he realised the truth though he's that out of it I doubt he would remember in the morning.

I managed to slip away from Ron and head back without him realising, probably because he had his tongue down some Gryffindors whore throat.

"You figures it out?" Rose asked, "Sure did, it's rather pathetic to be honest, he's worst fear is being inferior to me, and I know just exactly how to play it... now we need to find Hermione," "I can do that, the ministry keeps all records and whereabouts of wizards, I'll have my father look into it," Rose offered.
