You never know when the world's gonna come crashing down.
You can never move on if you're living in the past.
Live your life with love to be remembered, oh long after you're gone
Because every day could be your last.Oh you're gone, you've left us now
But now you're dancing in the clouds.
I know one day I'll see you again
But until then I'll sing your requiem. All of us want to be remembered.
All of us want to stay alive
Inside the hearts of others
In their lives, in their love, in their souls, and in their minds.Oh you're gone, you've left us now
But now you're dancing in the clouds.
I know one day I'll see you again
But until then I'll sing your requiem.
But until then I'll sing your requiem.Your smile could just light up the room.
Your voice could make the hardest of hearts shed a tear.
Such a beautiful angel, in the shape of a girl that I knew.
Taken from the world, oh, far too soon.Note: this song was written about someone that I knew. Her name was Kassidy Hockert and she was such a beautiful soul. She sadly passed early 2019 in a tragic car accident and it caused massive heartbreak across the community. Luckily I had the great blessing of knowing her and let me just say, she was everything you could ever wish to be. She was an incredibly singer and dancer even being a member of the show choir at my high school. She loved God and was incredibly kind. It broke my heart when I heard the news. From everyone that I have ever talked about her with, none of them ever had anything at all bad to say about her. She made such a big impact in such a short life. A life that was meant to accomplish many great things. Such a bright light, but at the same time God had his plan and this was His plan for her. She will be greatly missed.
