Ch.5 Sweet Dreams

******SWEET DREAMS - Hinata's house Night Time*******

Kageyama was really questioning himself, especially after he'd gotten an eye full of a dripping wet Hinata fresh from the shower, with nothing but a towel wrapped around his bottom half and droplets of water running down his toned chest in enticing patterns, it was truly a wonder how Kageyama had stopped himself from pinning the omega to the bed and licking the wet drops away with his tongue, or swirling those pretty pink buds in his mouth and biting down on the top of Hinata's chest. The images were reeling through his mind his imagination and his alpha side making the whole idea of forever changing their friendship that less intimidating. Yet, he couldn't, this was Hinata a ball of perpetual sunshine and annoyance dumber than shit but naive and honest... an omega who'd been in an extremely scary situation that day. That last thought brought every less than pure thought grinding to a halt in Kageyama's mind, it even subdued his alpha side. He should be focusing on being there for Hinata not trying to fuck him just because he was an omega. Kageyama had been trusted, because he was a friend because he was an alpha of Hinata's pack.

He'd eventually gotten his shit together and pushed all debauched thoughts from his mind while he was in the shower and was able to get rid of the physical evidence. Now though after sitting down on the couch with Hinata to eat and watch some stupid movie that was on, with Hinata snuggiling closer to him seeking out his touch and smell, the thoughts were trying to invade again but Kageyama was very good at something other than volleyball .... Denial.

Hinata, on the other hand was none the wiser to Kageyama's current dilemma, simply enjoying being around the dark setter, sure he seemed a little grumpy but he always smelled comforting and safe, plus he was always warm and wearing something soft that was perfect for cuddling. Hinata had of course noticed the smell of arousal wafting from Kageyama after he stepped out of the bed and stretched, so he figured he'd see what Kags would do with a half naked version of him, and boy had that been funny, but Kageyama was a gentleman and didn't do a single goddamn thing no matter how much Hinata's omega side had wanted him to, even if Hinata wasn't always the smartest he was one of the few people especially in an alpha dominated sport, who was truly in touch and open with his omega side, he'd never felt shame for who he was and he'd never really been around people that put him down for being an omega, he was one of the lucky few, and he embraced that. So the fact that Kags was denying instincts, in some backwards effort to make Hinata comfortable might bother him a little but in reality it really just made him all that more enamored with the dark haired alpha.

It was finally time for them to head for bed and Kageyama was dreading it, he really thought he was above that whole alpha, omega instinct thing. His alpha instincts certainly hadn't stirred like this when he was in the presence of any other omegas, but then again this was probably the only time he'd been alone with an omega since he'd presented. Although Kageyama had been quite sure he'd be unable to sleep when he finally crawled into the bed with the bubbly omega the minute his body sunk into the mattress he was surrounded by Hinata's smell and a bone deep tiredness etched it's way into his body making him become languid and unable to move an inch. His sleep was ushered in even faster as Hinata began to hum under his breath and inch a hand towards Kageyama's hair running his hand through the dark locks and massaging gently. "Oi, Hinata, dumbass what are you doin? The words were mumbled sleepily and barely audible, though they were said Kageyama had no plans to move. "You seemed tense, I do this a lot for Natsu when she can't sleep. I figured you carried me home the least I can do is help you sleep in an unfamiliar place." the only response he received was a small grunt and Kageyama's head nuzzling further into his hand. "Hey, Kags, you should come over next week too. I know you're not getting enough touch at home and you don't let the pack touch you more than necessary, plus that way Natsu can have an alpha around... the other kids at school were picking on her because she's an omega that doesn't have an alpha to protect her at home..." Hinata trailed off sleep pulling at him as he continued to comb his hands through Kageyama's hair and Kageyama hummed his wscent slowly stretching out to surround Hinata and sleepily wrap his arms around him. So started the tradition of Hinata's and Kageyama's  sleepovers.
