In A Pack World

Story Overview

* A/N There are parts of this story that need some explaining and I changed up some stuff with the omegaverse idea in general so this will give you an overview of current society. * 

Some rules of this society / my version of an omega verse

Hinata is seen as the one needing most protecting because of his innocent naive nature and his hypothesised home life

Typical Heat and rut things

If a 'Claim' bite is non consensual / result of rape it heals over almost immediately

Omegas are weaker during heats, if claimed they only want their mate same for alphas during rut

Both alpha and omega need touch, Betas not as much

'Official' packs can take whatever means they feel necessary to protect their pack {killing offenders or intruders isn't common, but is legal as long as they can prove that they were threatening the pack} more common is beating offenders to almost death or turning them over to the police

To become an official pack the pack leader must be of age and all members must be at least 16 years of age or a child / dependant of one of the pack members. Must have a pack bonding ceremony that ties the pack to one another & become officially registered

- Very few still use the pack system most just follow nuclear family because their population has lowered and betas are now the majority and most betas don't feel the need for a pack.

- Packs are protected by law

- because packs have slightly gone out of style the government offers "pack houses" that have been abandoned to new packs as well as small start up money, partly because researchers found that omega's and any pups they have benefit more from a pack system. Government's way of filling houses and refurbishing them while also potentially helping the population issue

- Mates are also protected by law, an Alpha/ Beta / Omega has the right to protect their mate however they see fit. {i.e. anything goes}

- Parts of society see omegas in a bad light, i.e. breeders especially because the population is down

- - all omegas are born from having at least one alpha parent, as it's a natural protection for until they become old enough to take care of themselves.

- Most Alphas and omegas can tell when they've found their 'perfect' mate some will share a mental bound others will be connected physically. {Some can perceive emotions even though they have yet to bond others can feel physical pain or things like hunger and pleasure. Before they've been bound} This is called "TRUE MATES" Basically they can sense or feel weird shit about each other even though they aren't yet mates. Doesn't go into effect until both have had their first heat and rut.

-- Beta's can't tell when they've found their perfect mate {cause not having heats or ruts} but it isn't unusual to see betas and alphas as true mates or beta and omega true mates

- To become mates they both bite over top of a scent gland, has to be deep enough to draw blood, because it's like a blood exchange to keep the others scent and soon they smell like a mixture of each other

- Mates need scent confirmation, a lot of times mates are allowed to go on business trips together and allowed to leave work in order to scent each other if need be.

- Scenting can be platonic or familial and is usual between omegas and packs one on one scenting is seen as intimate but can be platonic if that's the scent they're putting out...

- Scent glands are on the neck inside of the wrist and on hips where they meet with the pelvis

- There are some purist who believe that omegas are below them and should be treated as such - Some assholes everywhere (such is life) 

OMEGAS

Are affected by pheromones that Alphas give of * naturally submissive unless their pups are involved.

Omegas have been known to kill Alphas that threaten their pups *not just blood pups* ones their inner omega considers their pup as well

Nests are also protected violently

Tend to be able to tell TRUE MATES faster

Their eyes can flash at moments when their Omega is at the surface, some actually change eye colors (rarely)

Male & female omegas can get pregnant

All omegas are born from having at least one alpha parent, as it's a natural protection for until they become old enough to take care of themselves. 

All Omegas tend to have fast healing (natures way of making it easier to bare and protect pups)

Can have anywhere from 1-8 pups depending on their own body size and what their body can handle

BETAS

Can have children but it's usually harder to get pregnant * don't usually have multiples

Don't feel the same need to have kids or to protect their pups that Alphas and Omegas have

Isn't blinded by the smell of an Omega in heat, may think it smells good but they don't automatically get aroused

Don't feel as much of a need for touch *like at all but most do enjoy it

Generally accepted by both Alphas and Omegas

Don't have heats or ruts

ALPHAS

Generally possessive and protective

Super attracted to Omegas in heat, unless mated and then only their mate's heats affect them.

Can force others, including lesser alphas to submit. Forcing an Omega to submit can cause Omega pain

Members of packs have more 'power' because they can pull from the rest of the pack. {after they've had a pack bonding ceremony and become tied}

Their eyes can 'shift' as well when their Alpha is at the forefront
