Ch. 3 The First Practice Game

************Weeks Later***************

There was no denying the fact that Kageyama and Tsukki still couldn't stand each other but now they took care to never let it escalate. Tsukki also couldn't stand the too bright constantly smiling Omega Hinata, but he had accepted that he was pack and he would protect him like an alpha should, if the fact that Hinata now stood shakily behind Tsukki, keeping unusually quiet, was anything to go by.

Their first official practice match at Aobajohsai had started with an already extremely nervous Hinata getting sick on Tanaka while on the bus, and now, here Hinata was being cornered by two Alphas from the other school. They obviously weren't on the team from the looks of their clothing but were wearing Aobajohsai t-shirts, probably came to see the game.

HINATA's P.O.V

Bathroom gotta find the bathroom so I can take a breath, gotta calm down. I make my way there not particularly focused, all I can think about is that this is it, I'm going to be on the court again. Soon there's a smell I don't know and then there's a hand that follows that smell and is pushing me against a wall. "What do we have here? A cute little omega all by himself, I mean Oikawa's pretty nice but he's already Iwa's and Iwa's fucking scary, so's the whole volleyball team real protective of their little omega captain." The alpha next to him snorted. "Yeah, but he's such a bitch, don't think it matters how pretty he is with that kind of attitude." The second alpha turned his face towards me after he said that. "But, you look like a nice one, bet you'll be all demure and sweet, just begging for me to knot you. Right, sweet cheeks?" He puts a hand beside my head caging me in. My heart's beating so fast, I'm so scared. I've never been around alphas like this I can feel the tears start to prickle at the corner of my eyes. Why can't I move? Why can't I scream, why am I frozen in fear?

3rd Person

Tsukki had a migraine coming he knew it, Kageyama was being worse tempered than usual and Hinata was being a nervous mess, Asahi was nervous as well but at least he was quiet about it. Noya and Tanaka though, they kept trying to force him to do intimidation looks at the other schools player who they'd dubbed onion head or something with Hinata's help. Tsukki wanted to find someplace calm where he could collect his thoughts, especially when Kageyama had begun rubbing a hand over his heart and muttering "he's fine, he's fine, just nervous" it was rather unbearable for the annoyed alpha.

The smell was what hit him first, the smell that he usually thought of as Hinata's only redeeming quality, it being a subtle orange and summery smell, was now tainted with the acrid panic-inducing smell of fear. Tsukki felt his instincts taking over as he blindly ran towards the smell of his packmate in trouble. A low dangerous growl erupted from Tsukki when he came upon the scene especially when he'd heard what these trespassers had said about one of the pack's omegas. The growl shocked the other two alphas enough to back away from Hinata slightly in order to take on the incoming threat that the growl insinuated. Hinata took that moment to scurry behind Tsukki, his panic and fear still palatable but less suffocating now that Tsukki had shown. "What the fuck do you want? We saw the omega first fair's fair." Tsukki surreptitiously slipped his hand to his phone typing out a quick message to Tadashi, admittedly he didn't want a fight right before their game but he also knew that these guys were scummy enough to demand one before he could get Hinata to safety. He trusted Tadashi enough to get an adult to handle the situation.

Yamaguchi was a little worried when he saw the first spelling mistakes on the screen, Tsukki was a bit of a grammar nazi himself so the presence of misspelling was the first thing that sent Yamaguchi into a panic, the next was the actual content within the text.

A panicked whine slipped from the omegas lips and had every Alpha in the vicinity whipping their heads towards the omega who now had a familiar anxiety filled scent rushing from his glands. Suga was the first at Yamaguchi's side looking him over worriedly. He knew that this was a new environment and a little nerve wracking but that wouldn't or at least shouldn't cause this intense of a reaction. "Yamaguchi what's wrong?" Yamaguchi looked up at Suga with panic filled eyes. "We have to go, we have to go help them now." Yamaguchi quickly tried to pull away towards the doors. Suga held his arm firmly releasing a subtle calming scent. "Deep breath who do we have to go help?" They had attracted a crowd now, the rest of the team encircling the omegas on instinct a need to block them from the unseen danger.
