*******The Calm Before the Storm **********

As the weeks flew by it became rare to find Kageyama anywhere but the Hinata household, Natsu had made the Tobo-Chan nickname into something great in her own magical imagination; seeing how the bullying had immediately stopped when she went to school on Monday and the other kids head smelled such a threatening territorial alpha. It was especially helpful when Kageyama actually made an appearance at Natsu's school.

The team had just begun afternoon practice when Takeda's phone began to ring noisily. Cheeks burning with embarrassment he'd excused himself from the gym to answer the call only to step back in seconds later his brow slightly furrowed. "Hinata, Kageyama Mrs. Hinata called and asked if you'd be able to pick Natsu up from school and bring her to practice. I offered but apparently the school only allows people who are on their list of approved guardians especially if it's an omega." This had most of the omegas of the team giddily jumping about at the prospect of having a pup around to gush about and the alphas were all secretly excited about the prospect as well, that and seeing how their prospective crushes reacted around kids. Leaving the two betas of the team, Narita and Kinoshita, wondering how no one caught on to the fact that Kageyama was on the list of approved guardians for Hinata's sister. Thankfully Natsu's school wasn't too far away from Karasuno and they were able to quickly, while having a race of course, make it to Natsu's school. The race leaving them both panting and arguing over who had actually won the race. Natsu saw them first as she was trying to avoid the rude comments from the other kids that were saying things like how she'd managed to run off another alpha and how soon her own mother would leave as well because she was such bad luck. Natsu knew this was all lies and jealousy, of course, Ni-Chan had said it was after all but that didn't mean she was completely immune. So the minute she heard the raised voices and barely contained expletives of dumbass she knew that her very own dragon had come to save her along with the dragon's princess, it was a little odd that the dragon and princess would be saving the knight but Natsu was by no means a child of convention. The commanding angry alpha scent that was seeping slightly from Kageyama immediately put the other parents and teachers on alert, seeming not to notice that the scent wasn't affecting the children at all. Kageyama's little show wasn't meant for the children after all, but more for their parents who were in fact the children's biggest influence. Tobio might be dumb but he had realized that children had a tendency to repeat what their parents said, meaning that the bullying and such had probably stemed from the parents own scathing remarks. As an alpha, one who saw Natsu as his own no less it was important to ensure her protection and if that meant intimidating some dumb adults he was more than prepared to do that even if Shoyo was oh so oblivious to what he was doing. "Tobo-Chan, Sho-Chan!" The teacher made a move to hold Natsu back from running towards them but a deadly low growl and flashing eyes from Kageyama had the teacher stepping back and showing her neck in submission. Natsu and Shoyo were as always oblivious, just the way Tobio liked it. Natsu ran at them jumping towards Tobio who moved quickly to catch her, seeing how she'd jumped a bit early, as he caught her his arms wrapped around her tightly and he began scenting her in their now extremely familiar fashion, that Shoyo no longer batted an eyelid at, as Natsu nuzzled right back bumping her head familiarly against his scent glands. Shoyo had to roll his eyes at their antics seeing how he'd finally caught on that Tobio was purposely overdoing it in order to show that Natsu did in fact have an alpha protecting her. Natsu though seemed to enjoy the comfort and quickly turned to Shoyo a wide grin forming on her face, that made her look even more like Shoyo's kid in Tobio's opinion. She then launched herself at Shoyo, who thankfully was used to her wild tendencies and was able to catch her although he began to stumble and lose his footing as she settled in his arms, thankfully Tobio was there to lay an arm across his lower back and one on his shoulder to steady him, soon a very parental tone entered the dark setter's voice as he spoke calmly to a giggling, wiggly Natsu. "Hey, kiddo it's good to see you and we're really glad that you're happy to see us, but you gotta be careful when you jump like that with no warning you could hurt yourself or Shoyo; it's not a big deal at home because we have a first aid kit and the floor in the house isn't as hard or dirty as the ground. We're not mad at you I just know that you would never want to hurt your Ni-Chan." Natsu bit her lip for a second but nodded her head at Tobio a new small but determined smile on her face. "I understand, because Tobo-Chan is the real Dragon then he's stronger than the princess and the knight so he can keep steady, plus his skin is really thick." as Natsu said this she poked at Tobio's bicep muscle and grinned up at him with a sparkle in her eyes. This had Shoyo bursting with laughter as the tip of Tobio's ears turned red and his cheeks began to follow, he found himself hiding his head against Shoyo's shoulder muffling his own puffs of laughter. "I think... haha, we should probably head back to the gym."
