Chapter 5: The Music club incident - The investigation

Louise arrived at the school early than she expected. "I guess I should read some books while waiting," she said to herself. As she is nearing the hatchway where the locker room is, The Tantei Operative Club was in front of her locker. She facepalmed and head straight to her locker. "Morning Louise, you're early as usual." Nico greeted her. She just rolled her eyes to them and proceed to take off her outdoor shoes then wore her indoor shoes. "And it's perfect timing, this was your first case with the club," Jessy said. "What?" Louise was surprised by Jessy's statement. "You are one of us now," Sean said and smiled at Louise. "Welcome to the Club Lisa !!!" Timothy said so cheerfully. "Wait, I don't remember joining a club for pathetic fools. And I don't want to join any of these shitty clubs here." Louise said with a loud voice that other students stopped and looking at them. "You're drawing more attention, Louise, you don't want that right?" Nico said. "It's your fault in the first place, saying I joined your club but in reality, I don't. And I told you that I don't want to be with you losers." Louise said with her cold voice. "Okay," Airene said then she walked towards to Lisa. She stood near Louise's ear and whispered. "Do you want us to report that you broke one of the rules in the handbook? We are giving you choices, Suspension or Join us. Remember if one of us will report you, you will suspend for 2 weeks then your school standing will go down."

Louise clenched her fist cause she knows she is trapped. She is cornered. She doesn't want her ranking go down, she worked hard for it but she doesn't want to involved in any person too. "Choose Louise," Jessy said. Louise takes a deep breath for a second and faces them. "Fine, in one condition, it's just for 2 weeks, same time as the suspension," Louise said. Nico smiled he was about to agree but ... "No can do. We are going to report you even after the 2 weeks." Airene said that shocked the other members too. "You are going to be an official member of the club for this whole year, that's the deal." Airene continued. "You witch! Fine. For this school year only." Louise said. The club members smiled especially Timothy. He can't believe that Louise who was just his classmate, is now his co-club too.

"Okay now, that it was settled. Let's go investigate the music club." Nico said then Louise leaves no choice but to follow them. While they are walking down the hallway to the clubroom, Louise distance herself from the others. Timothy was just walking beside her. "Leave me alone. I can walk alone." Louise scoffed him off. "No, I won't do it. You're my co-member now. I will take care of you." Timothy said with a smile. "I can take care of myself," Louise replied then put her headphones on and continued walking. They arrived at the club room.

"Good Morning! We are Tantei Operative Club." Nico said. Yanna and Jenna went to us with their worried faces. "We have some clues again, please come in," Yanna said then showed them the poem at the chalkboard.

"Must crimes be punished but by other crimes, And greater criminals?– Back to thy hell!"

"It's so red. It's kinda creepy." Jessy said as they approached near the chalkboard. Louise just stays on the side and not looking to anyone in the room. The rest of the music club members are all eyes on her, but she didn't mind it. She kind of used to it.

"What about the song? I want to hear it." Nico said. Then Jenna went to the piano inside the clubroom and play some of the notes she remembered. Once she starts playing it, Louise looked at their direction. "It sounds creepy," Airene said. "Do you know what song it is?" Nico asked the other music club members but they shake their head. Then Willow came inside and was surprised. She and Irene had eye contact. "What are you doing here? Did something happened?" Willow asked Yanna. "Yes, President. It strikes again." Yanna said then points at the chalkboard. "Yanna, maybe someone was pranking us. It's not any serious. And I thought I said that don't consult anyone about this? Willow said it in a loud clear voice then looked at Airene. "Willow, what are you pointing at? We are here helping your club members. This is alarming." Airene said to her. "I don't care," Willow said. Then Louise spoke from the back.
