Taming The Ice Queen

Chapter 2: TANTEI OPERATIVE CLUB

Senpai: ( Higher-ups )

Nico and Sean were in the clubroom sitting looking so down when Airene and Jessy went in. "What's up, boys," Airene asked then they sat on the opposite side where the boys are sitting. "Nothing new. No new recruits, too" Sean said then sighed deeply. "Well, what can we do? We haven't had clients lately. Let's give up, I guess." Nico said. "No, we should not." Jessy firmly said. "Maybe there are other students that were just too shy to join." She continued positively.

Nico smiled at her girlfriend's fighting spirit. "That's my girl." He whispered. "That's it. Let's all grab something to eat. My treat." Sean said. He is somewhat the financier of the club. His family is one of the richest in the country. They all stood up then they all went out of the club room.

As they're walking down, they heard a commotion as they are approaching on the near hallways. And then Sean bumped someone who was running from the commotion. And they all noticed who it was. Sean bends down to help. "Are you the Ice Queen?" he asked. And the cold stare of Louise's eyes meets his eye. "Huh? Ice Queen? I wish I was really an Ice Queen so I can freeze all of you to death." She said coldly then stood up refusing Sean's help. Then walked away. They fell silent for a minute.

"Her eyes... Her eyes sent chills all over my body." Sean said as he embraced his arms. "Who wouldn't be pissed off if someone asked you, "Are you the Ice Queen?" than saying " Are you alright?" Really Sean?" Airene said and shakes her head in disappointment.

"Well, that was a dumb question to ask who someone who has just fallen." Nico chuckled as he said that and pats Sean shoulder. "Let's go. I'm hungry." he continued they started walking to the School Cafeteria.

They ordered and sat on their usual table in the cafeteria. They are eating while chatting then 3 students went to them silently.

"Ah excuse me. Tantei Operative Club?" said the student shyly who was an underclassman. "Yes. What can we do for you?" Nico turned into a businessman type. "We-well, we are from the Music Society Club and...we are dealing with a very strange occurrence in our clubroom. I'm Yanna and here is Jenna. We are classmates and clubmates." Yanna said.

Irene leaned on Sean and whispered, "Looks like a client." Sean looked at her and nods. "Well, let's discuss this at the clubroom," Jessy said and all of them stood up and went to the club room along with Yanna and Jenna.

Louise was still running and looking for someplace to hide so she can be herself, nobody will bother her. She found a room that she was very sure no one was inside. She tried to open it and it opened. She thought she was lucky to found this room. It was empty and clean. It had a teacher desk at the small platform inside the room. It had a long table and some chairs. She went under the teacher's desk and because of her small built, she fits. She sat there, put her headphones on and listen to the music. She immediately fell asleep because of the stillness and quiet place.

The Tantei Operatives along with Yanna and Jenna went inside the clubroom. "Sorry, our Clubroom is not as fancy as other clubs. Feels empty right?" Jessy said and smiled sadly. "Seat you two." Airene offered and the girls sat then she went to the teacher's desk to sat until she saw someone under it and she can't believe who it was. Nico, Sean, and Jessy were on the long table, discussing the problem with the two girls. She makes sure that they are busy then she sat on the teacher desk and tap it with her hand, she smirked. Louise awoke from the tapping sound. When she opened her eyes she saw a girl staring at her smiling. "Good Morning Ice Queen," Airene said whispered and smiled. Louise was surprised and she was about to stand up but she accidentally bumped her head on the desk that creates a noise that Nico stopped talking and looked at where Airene was. "Airene? What happened?" he asked.
