Taming The Ice Queen

CHAPTER 16

Earlier....

Ben closed the door of her room and went to get her some water. She lay down in her bed while looking at her purple-blueish wrist."It's okay if Uncle will hurt me. But it's not okay if he hurt my friends." she said.

Louise, due to her crying earlier, she's thirsty. She got up and check the time. It's 10 minutes since Ben was gone to the kitchen. She can't quench her thirst anymore so she went down to the kitchen to grab some water. Ben's room was near to the kitchen. After drinking water, she decided to go to Ben's room and ask what took him so long. She started walking at the corridor when she saw Uncle talking to someone.

She couldn't see who was her Uncle talking to because there is a wall on the side where the other person are. She tiptoed to the wall trying to overhear their conversation. She take a peek and she saw it was Ben. She was about to turn away but he saw his Uncle stab Ben on the chest. On his heart. She cover her mouth so she can't make a noise. She ran back to her room and flopped down to her bed, shocked she can't scream, she is scared, and then she cried, soft sobs coming out from her. She locked her room as she went insane, she didn't sleep, she trembled out of fear.

As the morning came, she kept saying to her self that what she saw, isn't real. She looked at her clock as it said, 6:43. "I have to get ready.." Louise said as she stumbled across the room to get to her bathroom. She took a shower, get dressed, and she look herself at the mirror. She had dark circles on her eyes. She get her makeup kit and gets her concealer and put some under her eyes. she put some colors to her lips and on her cheek so she'll look presentable infront of her Uncle. She took a deep breath and smiled at herself on the mirror.

"Pretend to be okay. Pretend you didn't know anything." he said to her self. She's on the verge of crying but managed to hold it back. She went out of her room and went to the kitchen. On the way to the kitchen, she saw her Uncle talking to a guy, maybe same as Bambam's age. She went to her Uncle and greeted him, "Good Morning Uncle." she tried her best to keep it normal. "Good Morning Louise, I'm sorry to say that Bambam quits being your butler last night because he was busy om his school works." her Uncle said and Louise knew he is lying through his teeth. "Oh, He didn't even say goodbye to me." Louise said. Her heart is breaking into pieces. She wants to punch his Uncle right in the face but managed to stay cool.

"So I hired a new one. This is Mr. Jackson Smith. He will be your new butler for today."  her Uncle introduced her new butler to her. He was a tall man, taller than Bemi, semi bulk body.

This man has been going to the gym, Louise thought.

"Good Morning, Ma'am." he bows at Louise. "I'm Jackson Smith, I'm your new butler as of today." he introduced himself. Louise just bowed im response. After the introductions, Louise and her Uncle went to the dinning table for breakfast. As they are eating, Uncle was talking about his business trip. Louise pretended to listen. She doesn't want to eat at all. She doesn't want to go to school and face Airene and everyone. She would be devastated more than she is.

After their breakfast, Louise went to gather her things and went outside and wait for the car. She looked at the garage and saw Ben's car. She went to it and check if it's locked. She tried to open the passenger seat, and it opened. She saw Ben's bag and the car key. She took it and put it on her bag. She also took Ben's bag and open it. His laptop was till there and his phone. She took the phone and put it inside her bag. She and Ben had the same laptop model and laptop bag. So she can carry it without looking suspicious. She went back to the front door and the car arrived. Jackson opened the door on the passenger seat. Louise went inside. Jackson entered the driver seat and starts the car. He was quiet while he was driving. Louise was suspicious of him. It seems he knows that Ben was already a dead.
