Another update here guys. Thanks so much for reading. My gratitude goes out to the moon and back . . . LOL! please enjoy!☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Melanie's POV
Just then, I saw Hernan running towards us, his hands frantically waving at us and was urgently tapping the glass window as soon as he came to the driver's side.
"Drive! Now! Go, go, go . . . go!!!" He anxiously was urging us on.
Seeing Hernan's frenzied body language at that instant, Sam shot the car forward, the nose rose upwards initially . . . the car's motor loudly protesting with the abrupt pressure on the gas pedal . . . tires screeching in protest at the brutal force! Then, the car took immediate flight! My shaking hands went automatically to the seatbelt, trying real hard to secure myself as best as I could.
"Oh, God . . . !!!" I exclaimed.
Sam was already starting the car when Hernan got to us, urgently shouting beside the car, Sam's initial response was immediate . . . no further questions asked.
I saw men scampering wildly trying to get enough cover and safety.
I turned around as soon as I got my seatbelt in place. The second car was right behind catching up with us when I saw from my left periphery a car speeding up in the direction of the clinic.
I felt my thudding heart jumped in fright unto my throat, my eyes just caught sight of the long arms, the barrels pointed outside the car windows!
"Ohh . . . no . . . !!!" I whispered, my eyes grew large with what I just saw.
"Get down Melanie . . . !!!" Sam barked at me.
Another car shot passed us, and another one . . . a toyota land cruiser pick up tailing it. Men at the back were also carrying heavy arms, these were trained at the clinic's side as well.
My hands went immediately to mouth, clamping it hard as I heard tires screeched not far away . . .
Heavy fire exchange of high powered weapons split the air!
"I just hope Hernan and the others got enough cover!" I heard Sam's dumbfounded voice exclaimed beside me, as I prayed for everyone's safety myself.
"Oh .my .God . . . !!!"

Hernan's POV
"Hernan . . . they're moving in your direction so fast, they're almost there! My estimate . . . five minutes!" My radio cackled with a frightened voice.
"Roger . . . ! The men are now in position . . . !" I answered.
"I saw 3 cars."
"Noted . . . !"
Waiting for the inevitable was such an excruciating exercise as I mentally counted out the seconds. My clammy hands holding on tightly to my Sniper rifle, my right hand forefinger just touching the lever. I set my mind ready for the moment I'd press it.
Large drops of sweat fell down my brows, my face . . . large beads of sweat erupting all over my skin . . . my whole body. I kept still, only my eyes moving when I espied three droplets of my sweat hitting the ground, breaking the tense eerie silence about me!
Goosebumps started to crawl up my nape to my scalp and just then, car tires came racing down toward us.
As soon as the nose of the first car emerged from the
corner, I hand signalled for everyone to wait for my first shot. I waited until the third car came into view!
