Maddie went back to her room an hour later, leaving Keith alone in his room with the gigantic stack of papers. He sighed, stumbling back to the desk where he continued working until about 5 in the morning.

Waking up at 7:30 to get ready to work was not a fun time. Especially after the dream he just had.

Keith jolted awake, every nerve in his body on fire. Pulsing heat radiated throughout his body concentrated on his hips and well...

He put a weary hand up to his face to rub his eyes. Wet dreams were nothing new to him but this one.. this one was a different breed.

And the first one about a boy.

He would mentally scream at  himself, but his head hurt too much to even function correctly, much less for a cohesive argument.

Later, the whole team arrived at the station to debrief and discuss the plans for the day.

"Okay, team." Shiro, who had obviously gotten enough sleep the night before, said. "Today we're going to check out the set for real this time."

Keith was slouched over in his chair with a cup of coffee, hoping the bags under his eyes weren't too noticeable.

They were.

The rest of his appearance looked about as rugged as you would expect. His suit was okay-ish but the shirt underneath was wrinkled and his tie wasn't exactly tied, either. The red garment hung limply around his neck, barely tucked under the collar of his slightly unbuttoned shirt.

Shiro then began divvying out jobs again.

"Allura?" He said.

"Yes sir?" She replied.

"You're with me. We'll go talk to the director, see if there's anything else he can tell us, verbally or not."

She nodded and began packing up her stuff. Manila folders, contact info, two phones and more went into her bag. Allura was definitely the Mary Poppins of the team.

"Hunk? You'll be going around and questioning people. Anyone who may have worked or interacted with any of the victims."

"Sure thing." He said, grabbing a notebook from the table and clicked his pen a few times.

God, could anything be louder? Keith normally wouldn't have minded the extra noise but today was a whole different scenario.

His face hurt. Hell, his whole body hurt with exhaustion. His eyes, especially. It hurt to even blink.

Maybe once he got some more coffee in him it would go away...

"Maddie and Bebe, you guys will go with Hunk. Provide backup with needed and keep an eye on the crowd, anyone looking suspicious. Also look through records and check in with Pidge- see if there was anyone who called in sick or didn't show up on the days of the murders."

Was it just Keith or did those two always get grouped together? Maye it was just him, but he couldn't remember too many times where they were separated. In fact, he could probably count them on his fingers. Was Shiro doing it on purpose?

Maybe the group leader was more intuitive than previously thought.

And they say there's nothing going on there.
