Before the doctor could bring the baby she began to sweet again. "I think another is coming!" She screamed. I gasped and froze up. A obstetrician came in and delivered the baby. I saw she was asleep so I stroked her hair as they brought in our new kids. I held one in a blue blanket while the nurse fed the other one. "What are you going to name these miracles?" She asked. "I have to ask Lola." I smiled. She awoke and took the baby in a pink blanket. "Hey Brooklyn." She cooed. I looked at my son and held him up. "I dub thee Donald Jeffrey Jameson." I grinned and he laughed. I can't wait to take them home and just— God they're so cute." Lola said. I nodded and almost forgot about Johnny. I went to his room and put him in the wheelchair. He was confused the entire way there but when we went into the nursery his eyes lit up. "Jameson." He read a name tag. When he saw two Jameson's he raised an eyebrow. "They're twins." I yawned. We went back to his room and I alternated from room to room until Ricky and Terry got off of work. I must've fallen asleep in Lola's room because I woke up and it was morning. We got the kids and took them home. She started breastfeeding them while I made breakfast. I made toast and cut out a circle in the bread. I then put a ring of avocado in it and then put an egg inside of the avocado ring. I handed her a beer and we sat down while the babies slept on our bed. "You know I don't want a special wedding." She said out of nowhere. "Just a simple get together with family and friends would be nice." She said dreamily. I nodded happily and we sat on the couch. She wrapped a blanket around us since it was cold and snowing outside. I started a fire in the fireplace and put on a nice movie. I kissed her cheek and she giggled before giving me a peck on the cheek. "I think we should sleep in shifts at night." She said. "No! You gave birth which is the hardest part right? So I'll be on diaper duty for a week then we can work out a schedule." I hugged her. She teared up and hugged me tightly. "What'd I do to deserve you?" She smiled.  "I gotta get back to school." I said. "But that's out the window since it's over for us." She sighed. "I'll just join the marines or something and after serving my tour I can take a GED." I said. "I don't want you to go to war though. Join the Navy or Air Force." She pouted. I sighed and smiled at her. "Sure thing." I nodded. The day was mostly chill. I checked the fridge and saw we were out of beer. I rustled up some change to go get a case. A car pulled up to me while I was walking and I turned to them. "How's it hanging Grease?" A soc hissed. "Better than after I made out with your sister." I shot back. "You're dead." His voice faltered. "So's your mom." I grinned. He charged at me and tackled me. "I can't wait till your kid is old enough to beat." He teased. "Oh and when that daughter is older, she'll have a sugar— anger filled my heart as I spit in his eye and kicked him in the ribs. "Got anything else to say?" I asked. "I did Lola the day you started dating." He said. I stuffed him in the trunk and locked it. "Hey you can't do this." He yelled. I threw it into the field and put his car on neutral. He rolled slowly into a tree and I got the beer and took a shortcut home. I saw a recruiting station for the navy. Another day. I stopped by Jack's house and practiced for a bit. We had a gig tomorrow. I took the half full case of beer back with time to spare until I had to go to work. I trudged down the street. I sat in the mechanic's bench and drank a coke secretly. I heard a car pull up and I rubbed my palms together and went to greet them. "Hey wanna get your car spruced up?" I asked. "Just give me an oil change you grease." The guy said. "And a coke." He spat after. He drove it into the garage and I cursed while I changed his oil. I decided to leave him a present and pulled down my pants. I was mid piss when Dennis and the soc walked in. It kept going as they both turned red and I zipped up my pants. "I'll kill you!" He soc yelled. He charged me and I picked up a tire iron. I whacked him and he crumpled at my feet. I dropped it and walked off wiping my hands. Dennis handed me my paycheck and I went home. When I opened it my heart sank. "3 dollars?" I gasped. I put it in the jar and decided this won't cut it. I put up flyers for the gig my band had tonight . I ran over and practiced some more. I ran home and collapsed on the bed. I was just starting to sleep when the ear splitting cry of a baby wrecked my slumber. I got up and smelt crap. I sighed and changed his diaper, fed him, and put him to sleep. Lola was working at Pinky's again so I decided to drop by. I hitched a ride over there and bought a milkshake. "Hey." I said in a raspy voice. "Have you been getting any sleep?" She asked. I shook my head and drowsily sipped my drink. "Are you coming to my gig tonight?" I asked. "Of course." She smiled and kissed me. "Speaking of which, you gotta go." She looked at the clock. I took a cab and stopped by Jack's house. I saw other people there and introduced myself. Jason the bassist, Corey the drummer, and Ivan the singer. I was on rhythm guitar and Jack was on lead. We all shoved our things into the van and sped off. I went backstage and snorted some coke I had hidden. I instantly felt awake and pumped. "Let's go!" I jumped around hyping up my fellow band mates. We went on stage and looked at the people there. "Who's the new guy?" A person yelled. "Can he even play well?" I heard another shout. I played the intro the first song and we played Well. I stood on my amp smiling and looking for Lola. I didn't see her... yet. I gotta stay positive. My performance started to go down near the end when I realized she wasn't coming and I was coming down from my high. We chilled backstage where I smoked a cigarette sadly. I was given 10 bucks for my cut and grinned at the sight of that. While walking to the van some girls approached us and flirted. "Hey you were pretty good tonight. So your fingers must be strong to play so quickly. She said. "It's more flexibility." I tried to shut her down. "I'm flexible too wanna see later?" She asked. "Cool, I didn't know you play guitar." I wanted to make it seem like I was clueless. "I'm talking about splits and stuff." She said. "Oh cool gymnastics! My sister took them for a little while." I grinned. She rolled her eyes and approached Ivan. He wrapped his arm around her and began kissing her. I shoved my hands into my pocket and kicked the dirt. Jack who was also alone tapped my shoulder. I turned to him and he whispered. "Was She there?" He knew I guess. I shook my head and put a cymbal into the back. "I sat on top of an amp as the others rode in the front. Ivan had left with each girl so I was alone in the back. I put the money in the jar and went to bed again. If those babies cry I'll jump out the window. I lied down and waited for Lola to arrive. But she didn't come that night or the next.
