Lilliana's P.O.V

I was in my hotel room working on Will's case. This is a hard case because he is a minor. There were so many possibilities for the outcome of the case and so many people I had to get involved. I needed to speak to councillors and child protection services and his uncle and the fostering and child adoption services and it was just piling up. I never give up on a client and I know I wasn't going to give up on him. I kept thinking about what Jamie had asked me. I had liked Ashley since I met her at Rochelles house.

"Are you dating anyone?" Kellina asked me, holding Zoe into her side.

"No I had a girlfriend but we split over two years ago,"

"Oh I'm sorry," Zoe replied.

"She cheated on me with her ex so," I laughed nervously. I didn't like talking about my ex. It was a pretty toxic relationship.

"How long were you together?" Ashley asked me stirring on the couch.

"Three years," I sighed, placing myself next to her.

"I'm sorry," she replied. I smiled at her looking into her ocean blue eyes. Her eyes were gorgeous. I averted my gaze from Ashley when Kellina sat down on the other couch. Kellinas phone went off and before we knew it she was up and walking towards the kitchen. Ashley and I sat awkwardly on the couch.

"So uh I'm sorry about your ex it sounded like she was pretty shitty," Ashley laughed, running her hands through her black hair.

"Uh yeah it was rough,"

"Sorry about how I introduced myself I didn't realise Zoe had guests," her eyes found mine again.

"It's okay I hope you figured out if you were a lesbian or not," I laughed and she did too.

"I uh I still don't know," she replied honestly, her cheeks blushing slightly.

"I guess sometimes you have to follow your heart and sometimes you have to not label yourself and go with the flow,"

"Yeah that's what everyone tells me," 

"You know, when I came out to my dad he brought me the entire series of the L word and forced me to watch it with him," I laughed. Ashley laughed too.

"I can't believe he watched it with you!" I couldn't help but smile. Ashley has a cute smile. She had these little dimples and I really liked dimples. She was just beautiful. She had flawless skin and she honestly looked like a model. There was no way a girl like her would date a girl like me. There was no way I was her type.

I heard my phone ringing and saw it was Elena. I mentally groaned before I picked up the phone.

"Hey Lills What are you up to?" She asked sweetly into the phone.

"I'm working," I replied flatly.

"Where?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"I was thinking about you and I realised that I miss you,"

"Did you miss me when you slept with your ex?" I laughed, feeling the tears well in my eyes.

"Lills you know we had been drinking-"

"That's not the point Elena. You were seeing her for months and you can't tell me you were drinking every time you saw her," I tried not to break.
