Kellinas P.O.V

"This is like déjà vu," I smiled, watching Zoe sit down at the bar. She has stacks of paperwork in front of her and sighed.

"Do you remember the first thing you said to me?" She asked, I couldn't help but smile.

"I believe it was something along the lines of that drunk huh?"

"That it was," Zoe laughed, opening the files.

"What's all this?" I nodded my head towards the paperwork, pouring her a soda.

"It's for a building that Quintin is investing in to expand the company within Europe," she spoke, sitting the papers out.

"He's expanding?"

"Yes and next year he wants the company up and running. He's going to hire some new architects and businessman and send some current workers to Europe,"

"Europe? As in living there permanently?" I asked. She nodded, "Do you think he'll ask you, especially since you're one of the heads now,"

"I don't know. I guess in a way I hope he doesn't because were going to be settling down in the next couple of months. We're going to be moving into our new house and we're going to have kids to look after,"

"Did the adoption papers go through?" I asked. She smiled and nodded.

"Once the house is finished, we'll get to have full custody of Ivory and Cassie,"

"I still can't believe we're doing this," I smiled, leaning over the bar and grabbing her hands.

"We're going to be mums,"

"And aunties soon. Ashley's already what like six months pregnant or something?"

"Yeah she's really moving along," Zoe sighed with a smile.

"I put the final payment on the house this morning so we've fully paid it off,"

"Do you think Ivory will like living with us?" Zoe asked. I shrugged.

"I'm sure he just wants the best for Cassie and I know being a teenager he's going to be hard work but I know we can do it," I reassured her, "we just need to love them as much as we love each other, while of course still being strict but not strict enough to make him hate us,"

"You're going to be the bad cop,"

"Why do I have to be the bad cop?" I laughed, fixing up a drink for someone.

"Because I'm too nice and I can't stay mad at anyone especially if they're our kids,"

"Well you're gonna have to learn to be bad cop sometimes because I got more shifts coming in from the hospital and they're all graveyard shifts,"

"Ugh so I'll be sleeping alone," she whined. She was just so adorable when she pouted her lips.

"Unfortunately but I'll make it up to you," I whispered, leaning over the counter so our lips were inches apart.

"How?" She questioned, her eyes looking deeply into mine.

"Before work morning sex," I smirked, bringing our lips together. It was a short kiss because I was at work and I knew if I kept kissing her I'd want to take her right here right now, especially with her in that right black dress she wore for her business meetings today.

"Definitely something to look forward to," she smiled. I moved backed behind the counter, smirking at her.

"You best be getting to work Mrs Muller, don't want to get fired now," Zoe smiled, flipping through some files.
