Echo

You exited the portal and looked around only to feel a bit disappointed, it all looked the same, blinding white.

"You did well short stuff." Axel stated from his position against the wall behind you. "But, I've got new orders now, you're coming with me to your new home." He walked over and you kept your gaze to the floor. He almost felt guilty "hey now, cheer up. There are more likable people there, like Roxas."

"...Rox..as..?" You had trouble speaking but Axel seemed to approve. "Yeah, Roxas. He's my best friend." The redhead held out his palm and a portal opened "come on, its time." He held his hand out to you and you hesitantly grabbed it, then the two of you walked through.

Since you and Axel walked through the portal he had shown you to your room. It was very plain with a couple of cloaks in the closet. "Mine is a few doors down, and Roxas will be across from you." You nodded and fiddled with the slightly uncomfortable gloves on your hands.

"You can take your hood off if you want." He said to which you didn't reply and he let out a deflated sigh before nodding towards the door.
"Come on, time for a fun little meeting." He rolled his eyes and you followed him out.

"So.." a man with white hair, deep skin and yellow eyes spoke from his throne like chair above you, his eyes burning into you. "This is the successful subject, is it Axel?" He looked over to another throne like chair, a different height than his. There were thirteen of these chairs, some empty.

"She is.." Axel semi awkwardly stated as he looked down to you. You weren't sure of this feeling you had but it made you sick and the man with yellow eyes made you uneasy.

"Now, don't seem so tense.." the white haired man spoke to you. "I am Xemnas...i trust you know Axel?" You nodded and he seemed pleased "good, memory and comprehension are in tact..." he seemed to be thinking before speaking again "You will meet the others in time but, there is one member i'd prefer you to get aquatinted with immediately. Thirteen.."

One of the hooded members jumped down next to you and turned to you "Hi, I'm Roxas." He held out a hand and your head tilted towards it, unsure of what to do so he gently grabbed yours

"Here, I'll show you. I say 'hi' and my name, and then you say yours and we shake hands. Like this." He put your hand in his and moved it up and down a few times "See? Its easy."

His voice was soft and smooth, and it made you feel relaxed but a strange longing for something. "She doesn't yet have a name." Xemnas spoke up and the hooded Roxas nodded "oh alright, thats okay..when can you give her one? What was her somebody's name?" Roxas asked and Xemnas shook his head. "We do not know her somebody..she will be called Echo." Xemnas said and Roxas nodded before turning back to you

"Did you hear that? That's your name. Can you talk?" He asked as he tried to get a look at your face from under your hood.

"Yes" You spoke softly and he nodded "Good! Okay, say my name." "Roxas..." "Yeah! Thats it, Whats yours?" He asked and you struggled to remember "E..Echo..?" He nodded "Good job."

Xemnas had been watching the two of you intently "Shouldn't you two see each others face?" He asked with a cruel smile on his face but neither you or Roxas noticed. Roxas looked at you expectantly but you didn't move. "H-Here.." he stuttered before gently pulling your hood down. "Your face.." he mumbled before shaking his head and pulling down his own hood.

The moment you saw his face your head began to hurt terribly and you fell to your knees, crying out in pain "W-Whats wrong with her?" Roxas asked, a look of worry on his face as Xemnas tried to hold back a smile. "She's fine. Roxas, she's to accompany you and Xion on missions. This meeting is over."

One by one, members started disappearing and the pain subsided. "Are you okay?" Roxas asked and he helped you up. "Y-Yes.." you dusted yourself off as another hooded member approached the two of you before pulling off their hood.

"Hello" she spoke with a small smile "I'm Xion. I was the newest member until you." She had a very kind face and you smiled weakly at her. "So you're Xion." Axel spoke as he approached your little group. "Well, I could go for some ice cream, you guys?" Roxas and Xion agreed and you just tilted your head "Ice cream..?" Xion smiled and linked your arm with hers "you're gonna love it, Echo." Xion assured you as Roxas and Axel nodded. "Well? Lets go!" Roxas said excitedly before opening a portal and walking through, all of you following soon after.

Hello! Im not dead, im just busy and im leaving for Korea next week (not this upcoming week) so I'll be busy again, but I'll hopefully regularly update again. What did you think? I hope you enjoyed it...if you can think of a better name than echo, please let me know. Anyways, until next time❤️
