It was so clean. Pristine actually. The floors, walls, and even the doors were a blinding white color that hurt your eyes for the first few moments.

"I see you have arrived."

You were pulled from your little day dream to see a hooded figure standing a few feet in front of you

"No need to look so hostile, I mean you no harm." He spoke again but you kept your glare strong

"You seem a little confused...don't tell me you expected to go back home, did you?"

You growled and clenched your fists "Whats it to you?! Who even are you?"

I stepped forward but in the blink of an eye your keyblade was pressed firmly against his chest

"Don't."

He put his arms up and stepped back before pulling off his hood, revealing messy shoulder length rose hair and piercing blue eyes

"I am Marluxia" he introduced with a slight bow

"Tell me why I should care and why I shouldn't just walk out that door right now." You hissed, making him chuckle

"Now, Now, Y/n settle down. You here because your heart lead you here."

"And why would it do that?"
You asked not buying anything he was saying

"You do want your memories, don't you?"

That got your attention. You stared at him, silently telling him to continue

"My...associates and I have the power to give your memories back."

You got excited for a moment before coming back to reality. This stranger who was apparently expecting you, just wants to hand your memories back for free? No way

"What's the catch?" You asked and he smirked before speaking

"We only ask that you use your memories to save us all. Nothing more."

You had no idea what that was supposed to mean. Save them?

Once you stepped through that door you forgot everything you've ever known about fighting. You'll move forward, become stronger and regain your memories..." he paused and looked at you, a strange glint in his eye

"You'll meet those you miss most."

'Those I miss most?' You furrowed your brows until his go lucky smile came to mind

"Sora! You mean Sora's here?" You asked eagerly. If Sora was there, you both could try and find Riku together.

Marluxia didn't give you an answer, instead he abruptly threw a card to you, the speed of it causing your hair to move a bit as you caught it

"Understand that to gain is to lose, and to lose is to gain. As you move forward the exit grows smaller. There is no turning back."

You glared at him before turning your attention to the card, a wave of homesickness washing over you. The card had a picture of the place you longed to be, Destiny Islands.

Your mind drifted to the last time you saw Sora. You spent so long looking for him, only to lose him. You didn't even know who you really were. You needed your memories, for him.

You looked at the card one last time before your gaze met Marluxia's

"I accept"
