The Dream of Lucy HeartFilla

It starts out a warm summer day, but it takes dangerous turn for one young mother.
"Lucy!" A slightly older Gray yells as he pushsopen the kitchen door.
"Gray, what is..." Lucy is rendered speechless at the sight of the pink-haired boy in her team members arms.
"He was playing with Mark and I turned around for two minutes. Then Mark ran up and said "Iggy is missing Daddy". I found him by the entrance of cave screaming. I am so sorry."
Lucy tries to smile but fails. "It's ok I am not mad at you."
The little one begins to cry. "Ma-ma!!"
Lucy careful grabs her baby boy, "Hush, little angel, what happened?"
The crying little boy, looks up at his mother, "Mama, MAMA!!"
"Hey, baby boy stop crying."
"It hurts, Mama."
"Tell Mommy, where it hurts."
The pink-haired boy lifts up his shirt to reveal a horrible black bruise on his chest, "Right here Mama."
Lucy tries her best not to scream in fear for her 4 year old son's health, "My poor little boy, why don't I go lay you down and Uncle Gray goes get Auntie Wendy to fix you up, and Daddy, too?"
The boy tries his best to nod. His mother turns to Gray. "Can you do that for me and when you get back can you take Layla with you? I can't watch her and take care of him."
Gray smiles, but it quickly fades, "Sure Mark loves to play with her. Silver needs to learn to share with other people, too."
Lucy smiles and quickly says "Thanks".
After watching Gray leave, Lucy quickly carries her injured baby up stairs into a little room with two little beds inside. One of bed has a red comforter and pillow with flames embroidered up them. The other is purple with butterflies on it.
"Iggy, I need you to go to sleep for Mama, ok?"
"Yes, Mama." Lucy kisses her young son, as he falls into a fevered sleep.
Just then a soft voice spoke up. "Mommy what's wrong with Iggy?"
Lucy jumps, "Lay, you really need to stop scaring Mommy like that!"
"You didn't answer my question. Is my brother gonna be ok?"
Lucy sighs, she leans over her blonde daughter who is currently having a tea party with her favorite dolls. "I am gonna do everything I can to sure your brother will get better."
Layla laughs, "I told him that cave had a monster in it. But does he ever listen, no."
"A monster?"
"Yes, he hurts people with strong magic."
"How do you know this?"
The little girl gives her mother a strange look. "The other Layla and her dragon friend the other Igneel told me in a dream."
Lucy is rendered speechless.
"They warned me that the darkness was coming and showed me how to fight it."
"Can you help Iggy?"
"Of course, silly Mommy." The odd little girl walks over to her sleeping brother.
Lucy watches closely.
"Silly brother. You need to be more careful. One day it'll be up to you and me to save the guild." She moves her hands over her brothers chest and light begins to shine down.
Lucy finds the shocking because Layla has never showed any signs of magic talents before.
Igneel begins to sleep a little more peacefully, his breathing becomes normal.
The light fades, Layla kisses her brothers forehead. "Feel better."
"Lay...." Lucy begins, but is interrupted by the front door swinging open and feet running up stairs.
Natsu rushes in, "How is my little fireball?"
"Sleeping." Lucy answers.
He sighs then looks down at his other child. "How is my princess?" He grabs the girl and swings her in his arms.
She giggles. "I am fine Daddy." He pulls her into a hug. "Don't worry about Iggy, Daddy, he is gonna be ok."
Before he can ask her what she meant the door open with a huffing Wendy and Gray on the other side.
"Where is he?" Wendy asks. Lucy points to his bed and she rushes over there.
"Gray thank you for taking care of Layla while we take care of this."
"My pleasure." He grabs the little girl.
"Gray," Natsu says, "take care of my angel."
Gray nods knowingly and exits the room.
As soon as his daughter is out of the house, he runs over to Igneel. "How is he Wendy?"
Wendy looks at him. "He is gonna be ok. But there might be some side effects his injury."
"What kind of side effects?"
"Magic stripping was used on him. He might, in the future have issues using magic in the future."
Natsu places his head in his hands. "Might?" Lucy asks nervously.
"What ever attacked his used ancient magic. I haven't seen it before."
Natsu raises his head. "Thank you Wendy. For everything."
"Your welcome. But I didn't do anything."
"What?"
"Layla did." Lucy answers.
"What?" The dragonslayers ask.
"I am not sure. She did this thing with light and he started breathing normally."
"She is very powerful, only strong magic could lift a magic stripping curse like that."
Natsu remains quiet, speechless.
"I will monitor him for the next few weeks, but there is little I can do." She bows and leaves.
For a moment all is quiet. Natsu wraps his arms around Lucy and begins to sob quietly.
Lucy is heartbroken seeing her strong dragonslayer hurt so. "Natsu, he is gonna be ok. Please stop crying it wold destroy him to see you so."
He stops, "You're right, you are always right."
"Idiot finally you realize it."
He manages a small smile. "I love you."
"I love you too."
He hugs her tighter and gives her a light kiss.
When they separate, "One more thing." She starts.
"Yes?"
"I am pregnant."
