Ashton-

I sit outside the bathroom door my shaggy hair falling over my eyes.

I can hear my three year old son Cole and my five year old daughter Robin splashing and laughing in a bath full of bubbles.

I smile leaning my head against the door as their adorable giggles fill my ears.

The clock suddenly strikes 7pm and I know it's time for bed.

I walk into the bathroom and lift them both up tickling them making them squeal with laughter.

Robin wiggles from my grip and bolts for the door her body dripping with water.

Before I can stop him Cole is close behind her and they bolt out of the room.

I laugh running after them throwing their towels at them and scooping them up.

I quickly dry them before they can run of again and send them to their rooms to get dressed only causing more damage when Cole starts running around the house squealing with his knickers on his head.

Eventually I get them calmed down and send them to bed.

Sighing I fall down onto the couch wiping my sweaty brow. Finally some peace and quiet.

After a few moments of silence I start to get suspicious and go to their rooms to find them gone.

I frantically run around the house calling their names until I find them snuggled up in my bed fast asleep.

I smile to myself and kiss them both on the cheeks.

"I love you to the moon and back" Ashton whispers smiling.

Michael-

The sun was shining and and the birds singing... A great day for a trip to the zoo.

I walked through the gates and into the zoo baby Belle giggling in her pram and three year old Essie trotting along behind.

We arrive at the elephants and Essie squeals with delight when one of the elephants shoots a waterfall of water from its trunk.

After a lot of trouble and having to drag a screaming Essie away from the Elephants we found ourselves walking through a green space full of bushy trees.

As we walk I notice Essie has gone suspiciously quiet.

I turn around and to my horror I see her running of squealing her hands in the hair.

"Essie" I yell turning the pram and running after her.

Suddenly the pram hits a bump waking Belle who starts crying. Just my luck.

I look around and see her rattle poking out of my bag.

I grab it and throw it into the pram which shuts her up for a bit.

As I start to run after Essie again I see her turn a corner and disappear from sight.

I start to panic running even harder swirving them pram around corners and bends.

"Essie" I yell again in a panicked search to find her.

And a few minutes later I do find her, her nose pressed up against the glass of the giraffe closure.

"Oh my gosh Essie" I say breathlessly "Don't you ever do that again!"

I look at her to see she's not listening instead her eyes are fixated onto one of the giraffes.

"Uncle Luke" she says smiling triumphantly.

"Where?"I ask looking through the sea of people.

"There" she giggles pointing at the giraffe.

Calum-

"Crap" I mutter looking down at the spaghetti which was now set on fire. Don't ask me how.

I turned of the heat and threw the pot of burning bolgnase into the sink quickly turning on the cold water on suffocating the flames.

A thick cloud of smoke surrounded the sink throwing of a burning scent.

Slowly the smoke evaporated to show spaghetti the blackest black it can be.

"Drat" I sigh as I throw the burnt pasta into the bin.

"Dad" my 6 year old son Brodie says peeking his head through the doorway "I'm hungry."

"Yeah I know it just the uhh"

"The uhhh?" Brodie says suspiciously

"CEREAL" I suddenly yell.

"Cereal?" Brodie says excitedly "Really!"

"Yeah uhh sure" I laugh starting to pour him a bowl of cornflakes.

"Can we watch cartoons to" Robert says now behind his twin brother.

"Sure" I say "Just don't tell Mummy okay!"

"Okay" the boys both say beaming excitedly.

I shove a bowl of cereal in there hands and shoo them into the lounge room.

We cuddle up and turn on the cartoons and watch while we shovel spoonfuls of cereal into our mouths.

"This is fun" Robert says cuddling up to me.

I laugh and put my arms around the boys. "It is to!"

Luke-

I lie in bed unable to sleep.

Thunder echoes from outside and the distant patter patter of the rain fills my ears.

As I lie there I suddenly hear the soft footsteps of my 4 year old daughter Melody walking down the hall.

"Daddy" she whispers "I'm scared"

"Come here" I say making room for her next to me.

She jumps up onto the bed and wiggles up to me cuddling me.

I stroke her soft short hair as she falls asleep cuddled up to me.

I lie there and something about her presence and the way she smells of strawberries and peaches makes me fall asleep.
