Ryan:

I'm really, really nice to everyone because everyone deserves chances. They might have done bad things but I think they deserve to be loved and cared for anyway because everyone can change, you just gotta be nice and patient! 

I have bright red hair that's messy and all over the place. It's so red it kind of reminds me of a tomato or a stop sign and I think that's how most people recognize me whenever they see me. Sometimes, people I've never even met will come up to me and know who I am! Would they realize it's me if I had different hair? Would Dawn still like me if I looked different? I don't even look normal to myself, do I look weird to them? Do I look bad? I look fat whenever I look at myself and I think everyone's too nice to tell me but I'm trying to fix it. I'm trying to be skinnier so everyone can feel better around me.

Everyone says I'm very underweight but I don't look like it. I want to tell them it's bad to lie but then they'll get more worried and I hate when people get worried because I'm fine. I'm always smiling! See? I'm smiling right now! So I'm okay no one should worry about me, I need to worry about them. They're all important, everyone is.

Kenny:

My brother Ryan is my best friend. He's the nicest, sweetest, best person I've ever known and I don't think anyone could be better than him because Ryan's unique. He has fiery red hair, brighter than mine could ever be and he's perfect. Everyone has flaws but Ryan's perfect even if he has things to work on. He's an amazing cook and an even better person and I plan to protect his life no matter what danger I have to go through because he's been through a lot, a lot of bad stuff he shouldn't have. He doesn't deserve anything bad or mean that's thrown at him and if anyone hurts him then they're (d̶e̶a̶d̶) they have to go through me and I won't be nice. I might be Ryan's brother but I'm not as nice as he is. I will hurt anyone who hurts him.

I enjoy watching Ryan when he and dawn visited my cell, dreaming about the life draining from his face as I choke him to death. I can tell he has a dead look in his eye and if I break him long enough maybe he'll finally snap.
