Riley's POV

"Only 21 days?! How could you not tell me beforehand?! The woman I love and thought I would spend the rest of my life with is dying... and I didn't know?!"
I'm practically screaming at her right now. "I-I'm sorry.." She starts to cry.
"How could you be so selfish...? You didn't even consider what I thought..."
"R-Riley please.. don't go..."
I leave the room, slamming the door. Everyone stares at me but I don't care.
"I have to get out of here." I walk down the hallway before I see about 4 nurses rushing into Katie's room.
I just think it's because she is crying. However, I then see about 5 more nurses and doctors come in with a medical cart.
"Oh god, what have I done..?"
I rush back inside her room.
Katie's POV

"How could you be so selfish...? You didn't even consider what I thought..."
"R-Riley please.. don't go..."
He leaves the room, slamming the door. I burst into tears.
My heart rate shoots up.
The nurses come rushing in to try calming me down. I don't stop crying, though. It feels like my heart is being shattered into a million pieces.
I start to seize. The doctors roll me on my side and try to get me to calm down. "She's having a seizure!"
"Go get the doctors!" Just then I hear Riley burst through the door.
Black.
Black is all I see.
I don't remember anything after that. Am I dead?
No... I can't be... there is still so much I wanted to do.
I can't go now!
Not like this!!
Next thing I know I feel two cold rectangular things on my chest.
