Chapter 13 (Edited)

Brooklynn's POV:

Alex had called me late last night and told me he was coming over.

So the next morning I woke up by myself. I rolled over to where Alex was suppose to be but instead I found a note.

Good morning baby. I know your probably thinking "Where's he at?" Well that's for me to know but I'm safe. I laid a box with a pink bow wrapped around it at the foot of the bed. Everything is inside. Be ready by 12:30 pm today. This is going to be special. I love you beautiful.

I smiled and checked my phone. Beth had texted me even though she's in the guest room.

To: Brooklynn

Hey. I'm going to be gone all day. I'll text you later. I love you.

I didn't bother to respond so I glanced at the clock and realized it was 9 A.M. It was a Friday and we didn't have school for some reason so I have 3 and a half hours to get ready. I got up and showered really fast. I just put on a pair of shorts and a tank top. I went downstairs and found a note.

Enjoy your breakfast I have made for you. I love you!

There on the counter was a plate of freshly made Chocolate chip pancakes, my favorite, with Apple Juice. I smiled and ate then went and brushed my teeth and went back to the room and took off the bow and opened the pink colored box to find a pink note card. I opened it up and smiled.

This is the dress, flats and jewelry I want you to wear today. Put it on for me. You'll look amazing. I promise. I love you, beautiful.

I smiled and put the note on the side and pulled out a pair of tan colored flats with little bows on the toes and a high-low tan-black maxi dress. It was strapless. The top part was black with a tan bottom half. Some of it was see through but there was a thing underneath it that wasn't that would cover down to knees probably. I laid those two items out on my bed and looked in the bottom to find a pair of silver stud earrings that was brand new and a necklace. It was silver with a small heart. The one he gave me for our one month anniversary. I wore it everywhere. No matter what. I smiled and sat down at my vanity and started on my hair. I water fall braided it and lightly curled the ends of it. I smiled and started on my make up. I put on some gold eye shadow and some light eyeliner and mascara. I put on a light pink color of lip gloss on my lips and was finished. It was 12:15 pm. I got up and quickly sprayed the ends of my hair with hairspray and then slipped my dress on. It fit perfectly. Even over my bump. I loved it. I smiled and put the earrings in and then slipped the flats on. I took a picture and sent it to Beth and she replied with an "AWE. YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL!" I smiled and replied with a simple thanks. I heard someone ring the doorbell. I grabbed my hand bag and threw my makeup in there and my lip gloss and phone then walked downstairs to find an older man in a suit. "Brooklynn?"

"Um yes? May I help you?"

"Follow me." I followed him out after locking the door and he explained he was sent by Alex to pick me up. He opened the door to the limousine and I got in it gracefully. He shut the door and went around to the driver side. The windows were tinted too dark to see anything outside so I had no idea where we were headed. All I know is it didn't take long. Before I knew it the limo has came to a stop and the driver opened the door for me and helped me step out. I got out and let my eyes adjust to the afternoon sun. I realized we were at a very expensive and fancy restaurant. He led me inside and the place was vacant. I heard soft music playing in the center of the restaurant and found Alex standing in a suit with roses in his hands. I smiled and walked to him. He looked at me up and down.

He blew out a breathe and said, "You look...beautiful. Wow." His comment made me blush. He grabbed my hand and led me to a chair. He pulled the chair out and I sat down. He scooted me back in and once the waiter came he took our orders and came back about 10 minutes later with our food and drinks. We ate with small talk here and there.

"Shut your eyes." Alex told me randomly. So I did. I heard shuffling and someone moved my chair around with my in it. More shuffling.

"Open beautiful." I opened my eyes to find Beth standing there with a guy I didn't know and then... Alex, down on one knee. His hands held open a small black box with a small diamond ring. I looked back at him as he began to spoke.

"Brooklynn NaCole McCrary. I know were young but I also know I love you and our baby. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. We've been through some tough times and a lot of good times and I love you more every day. And the day I found out I was gonna be a daddy I was 99.9% complete. I knew I had to fill the 0.01% in and that was to make you mine. Forever. I love you and our baby with everything I have and I'm ready to be a father to my child. Will you marry me?"

I stood there, shocked. I glanced up at Beth and seen she had tears in her eyes. I smiled and looked back down at him and said "Yes. Now get up here and kiss me!" He stood up and grabbed me and kissed me. I melted and he put my ring on. I heard Beth clap. We pulled apart and Beth hugged me as tight as she could, being careful of both babies. I hugged her back and let a tear fall down my cheek onto her back.

"Congratulations sister." She whispered in my hair.

"Thank you." I said back. We pulled apart and she introduced me to her new boyfriend, Brandon. Apparently he works at Hot Topic in the Mall and he's 18. He was tall and skinny. He had icy blue eyes and black shaggy hair. He was kinda cute. His face was pale and he had his hand in his pocket. He had one arm wrapped around Beth. I could see part of a tattoo on his arm. In his lip was a lip ring. I smiled and introduced myself and Alex. Once we got done meeting each other we headed out to the park. Alex drove with me in the passenger seat and Beth and Brandon in the back seat cuddling. They were cute! I sighed and laid my head against the cool window. It was rather warm outside for November. The mirror said 82. Alex parked the car and we all got out. We walked over to the swings. Alex started pushing me lightly as did Brandon for Beth.

We stayed there for about an hour and then decided to go to a small cafe for lunch.

After eating we went to the movies and watched The Fault In Our Stars. Lets just say Beth and I cried like babies. It was 8:30 P.M. by the time we got back to my house. I let Brandon spend the night and Alex as well. Beth and I fixed dinner while the boys watched television together. As I was stirring the hamburger I asked Beth, "How did you get over Michael so fast? He is your baby daddy."

"I'm not over him 100% but I met Brandon about two months ago and he finally asked me out last night so I accepted it and here we are! I really like him.."

"Okay..Does he know your..?"

"Yes he knows and he's perfectly okay with it. He's always wanted a baby. Just not this young but he's willing to help out and be the dad my baby never would've had."

"Okay." We finished cooking and called the boys in. We all ate and then Alex and I went to bed. I changed into some shorts and a tee-shirt and laid down. I curled into Alex's side and quickly fell asleep, exhausted from today's excitement.
