I'm going to stop putting so and so's POV. Just their name!
Brooklynn ~
Its May.
It's graduation day. I looked in the mirror and seen myself in my white high low dress with my wedges and my makeup. I almost started crying but I made my self stop. Beth walked out of the bathroom in her dress and flats. She looked stunning.
"I can't believe this...We're graduating..." I whisper.
"Yeah. We are." Beth looks at me.
"I'm so so proud of you. I love you so much. I'm so proud of you." I said, hugging her tight.
She smiled and hugged me back. I could feel her wiping a tear away.
"Lets go before we're late." I said, pulling away. I made sure we both had our school gowns and caps. I had my paper with my speech I have to recite and my phone. I picked up a wide awake Tyler and he looked at me with those big blue eyes of his.
"Hey buddy. Momma and daddy are graduating today. We made it buddy. We made it. I love you." I said, holding him close to me. He giggled a little bit and I swear for a second he hugged me back with his little arms. I kissed his cheek and buckled him in his carrier.
"You ready?" I asked Beth, who stood with Scarlett in her carrier and her diaper bag. I grabbed Tyler's bag and we left. Before I pulled out I called Alex.
"You at the school?" I asked through the phone.
"On my way. You?" He asked.
"Just pulled out of my drive. We'll be there in about five okay?"
"Okay." I hung up and started toward the school. My parents were in town. They knew I had a kid. They just haven't had time to meet him yet. They don't know I'm engaged either. So I'm hoping everything will go okay. I pulled up and we got. We got the kids and walked in to find it crowded. I finally found Alex talking to my parents. And someone else. I heard the stranger talk. Nathan! I walked fast and met them by the gym doors.
"Well hi beautiful." Alex says, kissing my head.
"And hi buddy!" He said, bending down to kiss Tyler's head. I smile.
"Mom! Dad!" I hugged them after Alex took the baby from me. I squeezed them tight.
"Hi baby. You look so beautiful...I'm so proud of you.." My mom said in my ear. I felt tears brimming but pushed them back. I hugged dad and Nathan.
"Mom. Dad. Nathan. This is our son, Tyler Lee Rogers. He's three months old." My mom smiled and took him from my arms.
"He looks so much like you Alex."
"Thank you." He smiled proudly and wrapped his arm around my waist. My mom looked at both of us then at my outfit. She glared at my finger and seen the ring.
"Honey? What's that?" She asked pointing at the diamond on my finger.
"I'm engaged to Alex." She smiled.
"We'll talk later but you two need to get up on that stage. Go!" my mom ushered us into the forming line of our class mates. Here we go.
The music started playing "Pomp and circumstance" and we walked on cue. I was nervous. But made it to my seat on the stage. Beth and I were sitting next to each other because of how our last names were. She squeezed my hand and smiled at me. The principal started talking. Then they handed out the diplomas.
"Brooklynn McCrary." I walked toward him and shook his hand, stopping, looking out in the crowd and smiling then off the stage for Beth to follow in my tracks. After the last person went it was time for my speech. I got up there and straightened everything out.
"Hi. I'm Brooklynn. This class. Well where can I begin? We've been together since freshman year. Four whole years ago. That feels like an eternity but it's really not. It went by faster then what I would've hoped for. We have our days where we don't like each other but I think we're a good group of kids when we decide to work together. We've been through a lot as a class. This class is full of nine crazy, loud, energetic, serious adults. And I want them all to know that," I looked at them, holding back from crying. "I love each and every one of you and I thank you. And I congratulate you. You guys are brothers and sisters to me. All of you know how to make me smile when I don't want to. You're always there as a support when any of us need it. And I thank you. I wish you all the best of luck in this big world. And know that no matter where we go and far apart we are, we're still always gonna be the class of 2018. Im gonna miss each and every one of you guys. Congratulations class of 2018!" The crowd applauded. I smiled and nodded and went back to my given seat. Beth looked at me and nodded.
They started playing the slide shows.
After the slide show was over we all stood up in a line, holding hands. We bowed. When we came up, we moved our blue tassel from the left to the right signaling that we are officially done with high school. I choked back another snob as we threw our caps in the air. The crowd applauded us and we walked off stage. My mom came up to me, makeup smeared, tissue in hand. My dad followed holding Tyler, tears threatening to spill out. Then Nathan came up with a poker face. Alex was with his parents as Beth was. I hugged my mom and my dad then Nathan. I held Tyler close to my chest. "Mommy did it buddy. I did it. I did this for you. I love you." I kissed his head, leaving my lips on there for a second, my eyes shut. We visited then Alex came up and hugged him tight. He lifted me off the ground, kissing me.
"We did it baby!! We did it!" He yelled.
"We did!"
"I love you!" He kissed me in the middle of the gym floor, hundreds of people around us but I didn't care. I had him and Tyler and Beth and Scarlett. They were all I needed. I looked over to Beth to find Brandon down on one knee.
Beth ~
"I'm so proud of you!" Brandon hugged me and kissed me then put me down. He got down on one knee. Oh my.
"Sharon Elizabeth McMillion. I love you. Will you marry me?"
"Yes. Ohmigod! YES!" I screamed. He picked me up and kissed me then put the ring on my finger.
I went home with my parents and Brandon to have dinner and my little graduation party. We spent the night there. Brandon and I slept in the guest room together.

"I'll be back baby." I said to Alex.
"Okay." I walked off and made my way up to the third floor of the school. I walked through the hall ways slowly, knowing this will be the last time I get to walk these halls. My whole high school life has been in these halls. I walked into each class room and looked at everything. Memorized where everything sat. The color of the walls. I made my way back to the second floor. My elementary life was in these halls right here. It feels like forever ago I was in elementary. Then the first floor. My early years. I smiled as i made my way through each room. I went back to Alex and we left with my parents and Nathan.
Alex ~
I graduated. Brooklynn graduated. I'm so happy. I have a high school diploma in my pocket with my baby in one arm and my baby boy in the other. I had my whole world in my arms right now. I couldn't be happier. In a matter of months Brooklynn will be mine forever. In health and sickness. After graduation ended we went home and had a party then went to bed together.
Authors note: THEY GRADUATED! yay!! Very emotional chappy here! I hope you guys like it! Oh and by the way. I'VE UPDATED TWICE IN ONE DAY! I feel accomplished!
