Our Wonderful Mistakes

Chapter 11 (Edited)

Beth's POV:

Brooklynn and Michael showed up at my house at exactly 9:30 A.M. I let them in and we went to the nursery to finish painting it. I left a window cracked open last night to get the fumes out since they aren't healthy for me and Brooklynn both. After finishing to paint we went to go eat lunch then back Brooklyn's place.

She called Alex and he came and picked us up.

Once we got to Broklynn's we went into the room she decided to paint and have as the nursery. We cleared everything out quickly and set down newspaper and then put plastic over things such as the window and the vent, and then put blue tape over the trimming of the walls and door frame. We started on painting it. It didn't take long with the two guys on the long and tall walls and me and Brooklynn on the side walls. Once we finished we went and got pizza.

Brooklynn and I had a doctors appointment tomorrow morning at 8:30 A.M. Since it was a Friday tomorrow we were all four going to skip school all day to shop some more and go to the appointments. We all crashed at Brooklynn's that night.

-Next morning-

Brooklynn's POV:

I woke up before everyone else and jumped in the shower. I got out, still no one was awake. I checked my phone. It was 5:45 am. I must've been in the shower for like 30 minutes..I woke up at 5:15? Oh gosh. Okay then. I changed into some lose leggings and a teeshirt. I lightly curled my hair and applied very little makeup then went downstairs and started on breakfast. I decided to make chocolate chip pancakes. I got everything out and ready to go. The mix was made and the pan was hot. I poured some batter into the pan and as it cooked a little I walked over to my phone and turned on Pandora and listened to my Jason Aldean radio on there.

When She Says Baby came on and I started slowly swaying to the song. This is Alex and I's song. Has been since I was 13, him 14. I felt someone wrap there arms around me and whisper in my ear,

but when she says baby, oh no matter what comes aint goin' nowhere she runs her fingers through my hair and saves me. Yeah that look in her eyes got me comin' alive and drivin me a good kinda crazy. When she says baby. Oh when she says baby.

I smiled and spun around and kissed him. A soft and passionate kind of kiss. I turned back around after the kiss and finished cooking. I set out four plates out with forks and the syrup, peanut butter, blueberries and the butter. I put 2 pancakes on each plate and filled two cups with Apple Juice and two with Orange Juice. As I sat the two glasses of Orange juice down, Beth and Michael come walking down the stairs, sleepily. Beth smells pancakes and her head flys up. Her eyes light up and she smiles. I smile as she darts for the table. She sits down and puts syrup over her pancakes and digs in.

"Oh. My. God. These are sooo good. Who made these?"

"I did!" I chipper in.

"You. Are. Amazing. I love you!"

"I love you, too!" I say, laughing.

"Slow down. You'll choke." Michael said to her right as she started coughing.

"Thanks." She said once she got done coughing. She grabbed her orange juice and took a drink then went back to eating.

"We have 1 hour before our appointment." I said. Beth's eyes got wide.

"Shit. I still need to take a shower.." She trailed off.

"Go then! You can finish eating when you get done, If you want to."

"Okay!" She got up and went to take a shower.

Alex, Michael and I finished eating, then Alex helped me clean off the table since Michael went to check on Beth.
