Author's note: I'm going to skip to the girls both being nine months pregnant! Brooklynn & Alex are engaged. Beth and Michael are no longer together. And Beth is now with a guy named Brandon who she met at Hot Topic! It's February's so mid to late winter!
Beth's POV:
I walked downstairs to find Brandon in sweat pants at the stove cooking breakfast. He flipped a pancake. He has icy blue eyes and black shaggy hair. On his bare chest I found some tattoos. In his lip on his lower lip was a lip ring. He was tall and skinny. He defiantly had that bad boy look. I was nine months along so I was huge. I was due any time now. I wobbled over to Brandon and kissed his lips.
"Good morning beautiful. How's my babies?"
"We're both great." We sat down and ate breakfast then decided to stay inside since it was very cold and snowing outside at the moment. We sat down and cuddled and watched movies all day long. Brooklynn was sound asleep in her and Alex's room while Alex was in school. Brandon is 18. He graduated last year and since Brooklynn and I are both due any day now we are now doing online schooling.
In the middle off the movie Annabelle Brooklynn came downstairs and got some food for breakfast. She ate and watched movies with us. At about 3:10 Alex walked through the door from school. We all four sat and watched the rest of Annabelle then the boys both offered to cook lasagna for dinner. Brooklynn and I were toward the last part of Finding Nemo when I felt something wet. I looked down and seen that my water had broke.
"Brooklynn.." I trailed off.
"What?" She looked over at me.
"The baby..It's coming. Now." Brooklynn got me up and slipped my coat on for me and helped me put my shoes on. She got herself ready to leave then hollered at the boys.
"ALEX! BRANDON!!"
"What?!?" They came running in, Alex with a spatula in a hand and Brandon with some noodles in his hands.
"Beth's baby is on its way. Right now." They both went back into the kitchen and turned the oven off and then Brandon hurried over to me and helped me in the car and got in next to me as Brooklynn and Alex got in the front.
-At the hospital-
Brooklynn's POV:
We got Beth to the hospital and the nurses took her to a room and shoved all three of us out of the way. So now we were sitting in the waiting room. Brandon was looking at something on his phone, Alex was watching football and I was looking at a baby magazine. I felt something wet on my leg and looked down. My water broke.
"Alex.." He didn't listen.
"ALEX!" I said snapping him back to reality.
"What?!"
"Our baby is coming..Right now." Alex got up and went to the nurse and told her I was in labor. She came out and wheeled me to a room.
Alex came with me but the nurse pushed him out of the room. Once she left I moaned out of pain. The doctor came into the room an hour later and announced I was ready to push. "Alright. You're ready to push. Push on three, sweetie." I nodded. Alex was right by me holding my hand.
"1.....2....3..Push!" So I did. And again. And again. After about 10 pushes I heard my baby cry and scream. The doctor caught my baby and looked up at me.
"Congratulations. You have a healthy baby boy!" I leaned back onto the bed and just started crying. Alex cut the umbilical cord and the nurse left with my baby to go clean him up. Brandon came back into the room.
"Beth had the baby. It's a girl!" I smiled and laid back. The nurse came back with my baby. I held him and kissed on him. Beth came in in a wheelchair with her baby.
"What did you name her?"
"Scarlett Kay McMillion." Right then the nurse walked back in with my baby wrapped in a blue fuzzy blanket. She smiled and handed me my baby boy.
"What did you name the big guy here?" Beth asked me, smiling at Scarlett then up at me then down to my baby.
I looked up at Alex. We haven't really thought about a name.
"What about Tyler Lee Rogers?" I asked looking at him.
"Tyler from Nathan's middle name, then Lee from your middle name then your last name, soon-to-be my last name?" I said explaining it.
"Perfect." He leaned down and kissed me.
"His name is Tyler Lee Rogers." I smiled, sure of myself. I handed the baby to Alex once Beth left and I fell asleep.
I was woken up to Alex shaking my arm and a nurse standing at the end of the bed.
"We need information for the birth certificate please." She handed me a clip board and I filled it out.
Name: Tyler Lee Rogers
Father: Alex Rogers
Mother: Brooklynn McCrary Rogers
Date of birth: Feburary 14, 2018
Place of Birth: Liberty Hospital
I signed it and let Alex sign it and he handed it to the nurse.
The next day I could finally go home. I got up and changed into jeans and a tee shirt with a hoodie. Alex wheeled me out with Tyler in my arms and Beth holding Scarlett while Brandon pushed her.
We got home and I put the babies to sleep then went to bed myself, even though it was about 3 in the afternoon.
Tyler Lee Rogers:
7 pounds 4 ounces, 29 inches long. He was born at 7:32 P.M. on February 14, 2018. He has light blue eyes and fuzzy blonde hair.
Scarlett Kay McMillion:
6 pounds 4 ounces, 27 inches long. She was born at 5:32 P.M. on February 14, 2018. She has fuzzy brown hair and brown eyes.
