No Love (August Alsina Love Story)

Chapter 7

I was in my room getting somethings. I needed to be away from here for a couple of days. I got in my car and drove back to the school. Today we had practice and I can't let my girls done because of my problems.

I parked my car and walked towards the practice studio. on my way I crossed paths with August.

"Hey, Where were you today?" he asked stopping in his steps.

"Not right now." I said still walking towards the studio.

I walked in and seen the girls stretching with out coach. I dropped my bag in the back and joined them. I knew something was wrong because our coach only came to practices when she had news or something to say. We stretched for about 10 minutes before getting in our line up. We went over our stands that we did at the game and practiced on a new half time show. Practice lasted about 50 minutes.

Coach sat us down to talk about the upcoming competition season.

"So Eva what are we doing this season?" she asked looking at her laptop.

"I have been coming up with some new stuff. I've just been going through something's but I'm all in now." I stated while leaning back on Destiny.

"Okay. Girls we need no distractions this season. There are a lot of new teams that have emerged. Some school teams some community. So for this season my rules are No missing practice, No being late, No junk food in school, at games , practice basically no where I can see you. No arguing please and what seems to be the biggest distraction. BOYS. No boys especially out football team." she said sternly. "Also follow school rules I shouldn't even have to say that and pass your classes." She added. She ended the conversation and dismissed us. I grabbed my bag from the back and was about to go before Coach stopped me. "Eva let me talk to you." she said motioning me her way.

"What's going on with you? It's not like you to walk out of school and then not show up to practice. Then miss school today." She said looking at me.

"I'm sorry. I've been going through something. It won't happen again."I said before sipping my water

"Does it have anything to do with that August boy?" she stated

I chocked on my water. How does she know about us.

"I seen you guys in the parking lot yesterday." she laughed

"No m'am it doesn't. I will assure you that we are only friends" I lied.

"Okay because I need your head all in ." I nodded and walked out the door.

When I got to my car I seen Alex standing there. I rolled my eyes and opened the passenger door placing my bag on the seat. I closed the door and walked around the car.

"I'm sorry Eva! I really didn't mean it, I didn't do anything with Jason. I will never do that again." she said sadly.

I really needed to forgive her and apologize because my anger wasn't towards her but my father.

"I forgive you. I'm sorry for overreacting I know your intentions weren't bad." I said hugging her.

I hit the look on my door and walked towards the work out room. I took a few steps before realizing Alex was behind me.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Oh Jason's taking me home. and you?"

"Ummm I have to ask August something." i kinda told the truth. I didn't want to tell her I was staying with him for a little.

We walked down the sidewalk before reaching the workout room. I pushed to door and held it open for Alex as she followed behind. Jason put the weight down and sat up on the bench. I waved and walked towards August who had in headphones as he lifted the weights.
