"Jason I need to talk to you." I said giving him a serious look. We got up from the T.G.I Friday booth and walked near the restrooms.

"Look man I can't do it." I stared

"It look like you almost got her."Jason joked.

"Bruh I can't go through this. I like her." I said. Jason was acting slow.

"You backing out of this bet? I need my 500 off the rip! " he said holding his hand out

"I gotchu bruh ! that was one of the stupidest bets we have ever. Betting I can make her fall in love. and look at me I'm the one with feelings." I said

"So that's all I am to you ? A bet?" Eva said stepping from around the corner angry.

"Eva no. You mean... " she cut me off.

"I thought you were different but your just like these other no good ass boys. You played and toyed with my feelings for 500 dollars ? You know what fuck you ! You have nothing else to say to me. I don't ever wanna see neither of you again." she said storming off.

She wasn't supposed to find out this way. I don't think she was ever supposed to find out.

I was sitting at the table alone when Eva came back crying she grabbed her purse quickly. I could tell she was mad so I followed her out the door.

"Eva... Eva.." I yelled speed walking to catch up with her. She got in her car and climbed into the drivers seat. Once I reached the car I climbed into the passengers.

"What's wrong? Is it your dad?" I asked looking at her brawl her eyes out.

she shook her head. "Did you know Jason and August betted 500 that August could make me fall in love with him ? well congratulations August you succeed." she said crying harder.

I can't believe these two stupid idiots. Jason is gonna get some words and August well he better be ready for a whole storm.

"No I didn't. And imma let them have it as soon as I get you home."

I switched placed places with Eva and drove back to her house we were in her room and she was laying on her bed crying. Poor girl she was going through so much right now and he just made it worst. I pulled out my phone and called Jason.

Alex💜💲: Betting on my Bestfriend like she some type of trophy. Tell yo friend when I she him that ass is mine.

Jason😘❤️: look man chill. We made that bet before we got to know her. At first she was just this stuck up bitch that was in my 4th period.

Alex💜💲: bitch ? your tripping. It was wrong. You just don't go around betting on girls and I'm not going to argue with you over this Bye.

I hung up the phone. I can't believe he just called Eva a stuck up bitch. That was disrespectful,

After hours of crying I dropped Alex at practice and drove to the hospital. I just needed to focus on family for a minute so I would only be on the competition team and not the school team. I seen Amanda sitting in the chair by my fathers bedside. I walked to the other side of my fathers bed and sat down I looked there at him lying as if he was lifeless. I grabbed his hands and bowed my head.

"Lord I ask that you protect and help my father. Forgive him for he has sinned. Please do not take away the only parent I left. Forgive me lord for I have doubted him. " I whispered.
