Chapter 3

::Eva::

(Sunday)

I was sitting in my room talking to Chelsea , Destiny, Jasmine and Alex. When my phone vibrated. I looked at my phone and seen a text from a unknown number.

Unknown: Hey ma.

Me: Who is this ?

Unknown: August. 😒 Dang ma , you ain't save my number.

I laughed.

Me: Lol. I never had you number to say but I'll save it now .

August✨: Cool . imma hit you back in a minute .

Me: Okay

"Who are you texting ?" Jasmine said looking at me. I was smiling at the text that August and I were exchanging .

"I Know who it is." Chelsea said smiling and sitting up.

"Oh , don't think we didn't see that kiss last night." Alex said butting in.

"I have no clue what you guys are talking about." I said smirking and grabbing my keys off my dresser.

"Ummhuh. Somebody gotta crush on August." I laughed.

Destiny was right. I had a small crush on him but i didn't know enough about him to actually like him.

"Not even." I said brushing it off.

"C'mon so I can take you guys home."

I dropped the girls off at home and then got Jordan to drop me by the dance studio at the school. I needed to think about things and I normally do that by dancing . I would've done it at the studio in my basement but I wanted to be alone.

"Jordan come get me in two hours and don't wreck my car." I said letting him borrow my car while I worked on my dance.

::August::

"Bruh whatchu you Eva was up there doing in my kitchen last night ?" Jason asked. We were in the workout room at school. We always come here on Sundays.

"Nothing. We was just talking and being your maid." I answered.

"I see you feeling her friend." I said getting on the treadmill and turning it on.

" Yeah she cool people." He said

We were working out when I started to hear music .

"Yo you hear that?" I asked Jason.

He shook his head. I turned the treadmill back on .

"I hear it now" Jason said standing up.

We walked out the gym and down the hall following the sound of the music.

we walked in this room with mirrors on the wall and seen Eva Dancing in a sports bra in a shirt,

She danced so beautifully and gracefully. It amazed me how every aspect of her movement was precise, so perfect. Her toes pointed and arms extended. Her dancing took my breathe away you can see the passion and her. the emotion and her flexibility at it's best. She danced like she was taking her last breath.

The music was off and Jason and I started clapping starling her.

::Eva::

I was in my zone, releasing every once of anger. expressing my emotions.. Nothing else mattered to me when I was dancing It was like I was the only one in the world. But somehow my mind kept coming back to that kiss last night. I had just finished my last move when I realized I wasn't the only one in the room. I turned around and seen August and Jason standing there clapping.
