"Twenty questions?" Louis asked as soon as the door opened. I looked up at him as I dried off my hair and he sighed. "We ask each other twenty questions, just to get to know each other better. I mean, we are sharing a room for like a week."
I shrugged and sat down on the edge of the bed I was sleeping in. "Sure. You go first."
"Full name."
"Harry Styles. How old are you?"
"Eighteen. You?"
"Same. Uh, how many times have you been here?"
"Every year since I was a freshman."
I stared at him for a minute. I could have known him since his sophomore year. I was just too scared to be an underclassman when barely any juniors are able to go.
"Let's see. What's your favorite show right now?" Louis asked.
"Big mouth. What do you do in your free time?"
"I hang out with Liam and Zayn. Do you have any siblings?"
"An older sister but she moved out about a year and a half ago. You?"
"Four younger sisters and a younger brother." He bit his lip and then shrugged. "Sexual orientation?"
I paused at the question. "Uh..."
"You don't have to answer. If that's too far-"
"Its just kinda... I'm bi, but my parents are hella religious and are pushing me to choose girls. It's a whole mess." I didn't look up. "Favorite color?"
"Wait, what?" Louis asked. "Your parents... that's kinda fucked up."
I shrugged. "Its not that bad. I just had to hide my last relationship from then and when they found out... you probably don't want to hear this."
"No, tell me," Louis insisted. I looked up at him. "Seriously, tell me."
"When the found out, they made me break up with him, did an unofficial exersisism pretty much, and had me on lock down for a while. It's not the funnest thing ever."
Louis shook his head. "That's horrible."
I shrugged. "Its not the worst ever-"
"Its not okay either." Louis rubbed his face. "Sorry, I hate any type of homophobic actions. It's stupid and unneeded."
I looked down. "What about you?"
"I'm bi," Louis answered without hesitation. "Do you play any sports Mr. I-Don't-Run?"
I chucked. "No. Overrated, remember?" I thought for a few seconds for another question. "How many people have you kissed?"
"I like playing with you, you don't just ask basic questions. I think it's over ten now. Let's see," Louis stared at me for a few seconds. "What would you do if I said I wanted to kiss you?"
I couldn't stop the smile from overtaking my face, but slowly shook my head. "You don't want to kiss me."
"I feel like that's a challenge, Styles. And I'm pretty sure I know if I want to kiss you or not. But you never answered the question. What would you do?" Louis raised an eyebrow.
"Fuck, I don't know." I want to say I'd be more than okay with it, but my parents would kill me.
"Say what you're thinking." I started to shake my head until he got up and walked over to me. "Tell me. Before I just decide to find out," Louis threatened.
I bit my lip and looked down. "I would let you."
"See, it's not that hard," Louis teased. He stayed crouched in front of me. "Ask your question."
"Why are you interested in me?"
I saw Louis move a bit closer while I stared at my foot. "That ones simple, you have a lot to keep me interested. When I figure out something, there's more I want to know."
"I'm not that interesting."
"Let me be the judge of that," Louis denied. "Why do you keep trying to shut down? No one's ever gonna have to know anything that happens unless you want them to know."
"My parents... remember the lock down thing I said earlier? Well, they knew everything, and I mean everything. I haven't had a secret for so long."
"Stop thinking," Louis declared. I gave him a weird look and he raised his eyebrows again. "Come on, stop thinking. Just react, okay?"
I closed my eyes and let out a deep breath before I felt Louis grab my one of my hands in his. He slowly moved them so our fingers were laced. "Okay?" I nodded, taking another deep breath. "Just relax. Nothing's wrong. I don't know if you trust me yet, but trust me."
I laughed and ducked my head for half a second. I pressed my lips together lifted my head, opening my eyes. Louis used that second to kiss me. My eyes slipped closed as his other hand moved to my cheek. His thumb moved back and forth for a second as our lips molded together. I finally pulled back after a few seconds. I smiled and shook my head, mostly to myself. I bit my lip to keep myself from grinning anymore.
"Well, you don't hate me," Louis laughed, leaving his hand on my cheek. He looked to the side for a second before shrugging and kissing me again, which I immediately responded to. He slowly pulled me from the bed until we were sitting on the floor between the beds, making out.
A phone started ringing. I pushed myself back, realizing it was my phone. When I saw my Dad's name I almost had a heart attack. I answered it regardless, but my heart was pounding.
"Hey, Dad," I said. My breathing wasn't even, and I figured I could blame it on the gym if he asked.
"Have you got to the hotel yet?" Dad asked. "It doesn't sound like you're on the bus."
"Yeah, yeah," I said, running my hand through my hair and trying to calm myself down. He doesn't know. He can't know. "We just got to our rooms. I was about to call you."
"Alright. Just wanted to check. Talk to you later." He hung up and I let out a small breath of relief, refusing to look at Louis.
"Harry," Louis said softly, making me look up at him after a few seconds. "Its okay."
I closed my eyes and rested my head against the bed I was leaning against. "Yeah." I nodded.
I could feel Louis move closer and my mind and body were fighting each other on what I should be doing. When I opened my eyes, Louis as sitting next to me.
"Don't get in your head. What did I say earlier?"
"Stop thinking," I whispered.
"Exactly, stop-" I turned and kissed him again. He didn't hesitate to move closer, his arms wrapping around my neck. Louis ended up towering over me, one of his hands trailing up to my hair.
After a while of making out, Louis pulled away and rested his forehead on mine. "Are you actually okay with this?"
"I don't think I would have kissed you if I wasn't okay with it." I opened my eyes to look at him, a smile set on my face. "But why?"
"Why what?" He smiled as he pushed hair behind my ear.
"Why me? Why do this when-"
"We're gonna leave soon?" Louis finished. I nodded wordlessly and he shrugged. "I'm hoping if this goes well that it won't end when we leave. And as for you, why wouldn't I? Like fuck how are people not all over you?"
I laughed and he did too, putting his head in the crook of my neck. I wrapped him in my arms, letting out a content sigh.
My phone went off with a message and I almost ignore it but ended up checking it. It was just a text from my teachers letting me know that whatever we were eating was almost to the hotel. I tossed my phone to the side as Louis looked up, kissing him again.
Louis smiled. "To be honest, I had no idea if that would work. I wanted it to work."
I started laughing, shaking my head. "This is going to be a very interesting week, isn't it?"
"With me, nothing is ordinary."
