I woke up when I heard the door close. I blinked and rubbed my eyes before sitting up, not ready to be awake at all. I pushed myself up and yawned, seeing Louis balancing something as he walked to the desk that was in the room.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked tiredly, moving to stand up.

Louis looked back at me, an easy smile on his face. "I got it."

"Are you sure?" I asked again, pausing my movements. My mind still felt hazy and I had no idea what time it was.

"Yeah, Haz," he answered. I relaxed on the bed and took a deep breath. "Are you hungry?" I nodded slowly and he nodded once. "Okay, I got dinner."

"You could have woken me up," I told him again as he brought over a plate and a cup then grabbed his own before sitting next to me again.

"I could have, but you needed to sleep and I was just fine. Grindley is glad you're staying, though," he added on softly.

I leaned into him and started eating a dinner roll. "Me too."

When we were done eating, Louis turned on the tv and we sat against the headboard, my head on his shoulder while our hands were laced. It was only about eight, which meant that it was possible someone would want to come talk to one of us, but I found it unlikely until someone started pounding on the door. I jumped and my mind went to oh my god my dad is here and I'm going to die.

Louis squeezed my hand before while he looked in the direction of the door. He looked over at me and smiled a tiny bit. "Calm down, okay? I'll go see who it is."

I nodded, letting go of his hand when he stood up. He walked to the door and opened it, and I saw relief flash across his features. "Don't fucking knock like that, damn," he chuckled. Louis looked back at me. "It's just my friends, it's okay."

I moved closer to the edge to see around the corner of the hotel room and saw Liam and Zayn. They both gave a small wave.

They came in and Louis sat down on the edge of the bed with me while Zayn closed the door and Liam waited on him. As soon as Zayn was besides him, Liam said, "so are we still doing that or..?"

"I don't know," Louis answered. After a second he added "You two go."

"We agreed it was all or none," Zayn quipped. "And were sticking to that."

"That was before everything with Harry," Louis answered. I gave him a questioning look but he ignored it. "So I'm saying fuck our stupid rule and go."

"What rule?" I asked quietly.

Louis looked over at me then back to them. "We brought weed-"

"Louis!" Zayn yelled at the same time Liam said "Great."

"-and agreed that we would only go smoke if it was all of us, but I don't know how you feel on that and I'm not going to pressure you to do it or not say anything either."

"Lets go," I said with a shrug. "As long as you guys don't mind it."

"Lets go," Zayn said with a triumphant smirk towards Louis. Louis stood up and I followed, slipping on a pair of shoes.

Louis held my hand as we walked. I smiled to myself as we got to the front doors where his teacher was standing. Without hesitation, Louis let go of my hand and walked ahead of Zayn and Liam, talking to Mr. Yeets before nodding his head. I kept walking closer until Louis walked back and grabbed my hand again. "We're good."

We walked outside and I looked around at the cars and people, then down at mine and Louis' hands. I let myself smile and looked up, the weight on my shoulders lessening a little bit.
