The three Americans and four Brits look at George and dispersed from their huddle. They were smiling and giggling a bit too.
"Hey! What are you lads talking about!" George asked with a hint of frustration and anger.
George didn't like to be talked about behind his back. He tried to calm down.
"Nothing George!" John replied with a poker face.
"Go on!" Micky said with the corners of his mouth lifted.
George felt something was wrong. Did they know his feelings for Davy? Was he making it obvious?
He was scared. Scared that everyone would throw him out for liking another man. He was scared that society would throw him out and no one would ever care about him again. He was scared of himself. But he damn well couldn't help it! I mean, look at that face!
George, not wanting to deal with this stress, went into his room upstairs that he was sharing with Paul. He had started to meditate to free the mind of his stress. After a few 10 minutes, he was a lot calmer and relaxed then moments before.
He started changing out of his swimwear and put his fashionable clothes back on over his slightly more tanned skin.
All of a sudden, he heard the boys downstairs jamming and playing old songs everyone ought to know. Davy was Tambourine, Peter was Banjo, Mike was Lead Guitar, Micky was Maracas, John was Harmonica with Rhythm
Guitar, Ringo was Drums, and Paul was Piano. He went running down there and fit right along. He grabbed his 1966 Epiphone Casino electric guitar and plugged it in the amp.He sounded horrid. The guitar was detuned and the tone was terrible. The amp had blared an awful solo and he stopped. Everyone was laughing at him so hard. He felt very embarrassed in front of Davy and his face had turned a tomato red. He was pissed and embarrassed.
"Bloody hell, what where you guys doing with my guitar! That's my baby! Secondly, I think you guys were talking shit on me and I don't tolerate that shit! I'm pissed off for fucks sake!"
George said with more anger than any of his lads had ever seen him with.George left the room and slammed his door once he had gotten upstairs.
The other boys had stopped everything they were doing and stayed quiet. They talked and realized what they did was wrong and went to apologize one by one. First they gave George a little bit of time for him to calm down.
A knock came in the door a few moments later.
"Come in." George told the knocking.
The door opened with Micky standing outside of his room.
"I just wanted to say sorry. I was apart of the plan and I did mean to hurt your feelings and get you in this mood. I realized what I did was wrong so I'm here. I'm sorry George." said Micky with a voice full of guilt.
George didn't reply.
"I'm sorry lad, it was supposed to be all fun and games." Ringo apologized.
No reply still.
"Y'know, I should've known better. I know how you feel about your guitars Georgie. I'm sorry." Paul told his roommate.
Yet again, there was no reply.
"Look here fella, I apologize for my part in this. I hope we can still be good friends." Mike said.
George nodded up at Mike.
"I didn't mean to hurt you, I didn't mean to put you in sorrow. I'm sorry Georgie, although it was funny watching you." John said with a laugh.
George gave no reply to Johnny and got even worse of an attitude.
"You know, I'm sorry for what we did. You seem like a nice guy." Peter told the sad slender man.
George again had no reply.
After all the others had left. Davy came walking in from the spiral staircase.
"I'm sorry George for doing that to you." Davy said with a guilty tone.
"It's alright." George finally replied.
"What's been going on with you anyways? The boys said that you've been very off and not yourself lately. Do you want to be here?" Davy questioned.
"Yes! For the most part, I am enjoying myself here." George answered the question honestly.
"For some reason, I've just been more sensitive." George lied to Davy telling him he didn't know why it was.
"Y'know, it just pisses me off when people talk about me behind my back. As well as people who bullshit me . . . " George ranted.
"I agree, and it was wrong of us to do that to you." Davy said.
"The lads have been saying that you've been daydreaming, and that you typically do that when you see a hot girl you fancy. Well, you've done it to me twice now George." Davy had a long pause.
"Do you fancy me?" Davy asked with confusion.
