"So what time shall I pick you up?", Chelsea said as we walked out the cafe doors.
"About 8?", I replied fishing for my car keys.
"8? Girl I take ages to get ready I'll pick you up at 6", she said as she walked towards her car.
I rolled my eyes, "Fine", I laughed, "See you tonight". After reaching my car I turned on the engine and set off back home.
So update. Yes I was now single. After deciding to break things off with Lucas I was much happier, don't get me wrong I was still a little heartbroken it had only been a month but after realising I no longer had any trust in him that was it. Chelsea comes into my story as we were constantly bumping into each other after that day at the hospital, she invited me for a coffee and we have been meeting up ever since, it was nice to finally have a female friend in Paris I didn't feel alone so much and I actually had someone to go shopping with since she is just like another version of me. Work has been steady, nothing new, we're getting well under way with the prints for the stadium refurb but we are no where near finished yet. Speaking of work, another person I found myself getting close to was Alex. He was so cute and funny and really helped me get through the whole Lucas situation which I was immensely great full for, he would sometimes tag along on mine and Chelsea's shopping trips which we didn't mind at all. Now as for Kylian. Who knows what he's up to these days, the last time I saw him was when he was beating the living daylight out of my (ex)boyfriend. We hadn't spoken once which I found quite odd but I wasn't one to go and chase after a friendship which had already fizzled out. I heard he was still going strong with his girlfriend and I hoped they were looking after the dog well but hey, what do I know. The boys at the training centre have all been so nice and always have me in stitches when I'm there. Oh and did I mention I finally have a car! I thanked Thomas when he offered to sort out the paperwork since I had no idea what to do since I held a UK license not a French one but before I knew it I was on the road fearing for my life since in France you drive on the opposite side of the road however with everything coming into place I felt I was really finally settling into Paris.
