Sitting next to her bed, my heart would beat faster every time she would glance at me, which was very often. I think I was making her nervous. "You don't have to stay you know?".

"You want me to just leave you here on your own?no", I said watching her roll her eyes as she tried to hide a tiny smile. After a few minutes, the doctor walked in with her X-ray results. "So Miss Costella, luckily your leg is not broken anywhere, just severely bruised", he scolded as she looked down and nodded. "You must be more careful! That is just clumsy behaviour for you to slip in a shower, you can not just be coming in here over minor injuries like this when we have serious patients waiting!". I frowned as she looked down, the doctor's voice getting louder the more he spoke, almost like he was telling her off. Not on my fucking watch.

"Sorry", she mumbled fiddling with her fingers, her head bowed showing her fear of when a man would shout at her.

I felt myself getting angry as the doctor towered over her making her feed so intimidated. "Ay, back up a little man and don't shout at her", I said pushing the doctor away from her gently as he frowned at me pushing my hand away, a stern look on his face. "This is a hospital, this is your fucking job. She had an injury and was in pain, I'm pretty sure she is entitled to come and get it checked out", I hissed as the doctor looked between us both not saying a word before turning his nose at up in snobbiness.

"Your free to leave, apply this cream twice a day", and with that he was gone, handing me some cream for her as he just looked at me.

"Thank you", she mumbled as I helped her out the chair as we walked out the hospital.

"Don't worry about it", I sighed as we walked.

"Don't worry about it", she mimicked in a deep voice. Instantly putting a smile on my face, I turned to her frowning my eye brows, well I am glad her humour is back.

"Your a lot more cheeky now than I remember", I chuckled as she smiled also.

She hummed. "I guess a blow to the brain can do weird things to you", she widened her eyes as I shook my head, us both laughing. As much as it did pain me to hear it, I loved how she could see the humour in the bad shit. "There are lots of people staring at you".

I smiled, forgetting she forgot what it was like to walk round with a footballer who had cameras in his face nearly 24/7. "Yeah you get use to it", I shrugged, Savanna quickly going to the vending machine to get a drink before I watch her walk back to me with red cheeks. "What's up, where is your drink?".

"I need money", she blushed.

I smirked. "You didn't bring out any money with you?".

"Oh yeah because money was the first thing to cross my mind when I was in excruciating pain", she said making me shake my head.

"Your so cheeky", I smirked handing a few euros as she took the money and shrugged, a smile on her face as she turned on her heel.

"Don't pretend you don't love it", she said as she winked jokingly before strutting away. I shook my head as I watched her walk away. That girl will be the damn death of me.

I tensed when I saw a figure walk up to us from the distance. Oh fucking shit.

"What the fuck are you doing here?", Alex hissed lowly to me. "Did we not tell you to leave her the fuck alone?", he said. I thanked god when he spoke in french, it really wouldn't be ideal to me if Sav hears any of this.
