Walking to a quiet, secluded area of the back garden area, we sat down on a large swinging bench filled with pillows and blankets. The garden terrace was decorated so elegantly, dim path lights guiding you round, a heated outdoor area and a bunch of cosy sofa's. Seeing as it was the back area there was not a camera in sight, nor people as well actually, me and Kylian seemed to be the only two outside.

"Nice night right?", I started off as I looked up at the sky, past the trees to see the clear sky filled bright with many stars. Looking back down I met Kylian's eyes who were staring at me intently.

"You do know why I pulled you outside? Because it definitely was not to talk about the sky", he spoke raising his eyebrows as we gently rocked back and forth on the swinging seat. Honestly at this moment I couldn't tell if he was still angry at the situation or if he was just trying to quickly get down to conversation.

Sighing, I nodded. "Right, about that night, I can not stress enough how sorry I am for letting you and Lucas get into a fight. It was extremely wrong for me to bring him there in the first place knowing you two obviously didn't see eye to eye. I honestly can not apologise any more than I am".

"Why are you apologising?", he said a little angrily. I frowned confused. "You have nothing to be sorry for, you didn't hit me".

"But I caused it by bringing Lucas in the first place",I replied.

"Listen Savanna, we all have free fucking will for a reason. Whether you brought him or not he chose to drink that much and act like a dick, what could you have done? He did that to himself". I looked at him frowning for a few seconds before turning my gaze to the huge windows seeing dancing bodies fill the room inside.

"Right whatever, I'm just sorry that it all happened, I know it's the last thing you need". He paused for a few seconds looking at me before speaking.

"Your not still with him are you?", he said as I quickly shook my head.

"Of course not".

"Bien".

"Good?".

He nodded. "Yeah, real fucking good. He hit you didn't he?". I didn't know how to respond to that nor did I want to. It was still paining me to even talk about him like this, our breakup was still fresh. Even though our relationship ended the way it did I knew Lucas was still a good person at heart despite what happened that night. I see too much good in Lucas to eliminate out the bad. Saying this does not at all mean I would ever run back to him, I'm not defending him in anyway it just means when I picture Lucas, I picture all the good times together, all the love and happiness he brought me before this. "Had he ever hit you before?".

"No", I said sharply. "Never, can we just drop this subject now please". Kylian raised his eyebrow nodding slowly, I couldn't make eye contact as it was now apparent how much I didn't want to speak about Lucas. An awkward silence filled the air, the only sound coming from the party inside.
